Crisp white flakes fall
  Dusting the green grass
  Cold air blows steam
  Fiery hair blazes
  'gainst the white
  "Why is there snow!?"
  The general cry,
  "It NEVER snows here!
  Not on the plains!
  Oh why?"
  Suddenly she grins.
  "Who cares why?
  So long as we can...
  Make...
  SNOWBALLS!"
I watch as she reaches down,
  Forms the white powder
  Into a ball,
  Not quite sure
  What she plans
  "Oh Zel...
  she calls.
  I look up
  "Yes Lina?
  What?"
  "Snow SEEKER!"
  The cry echos
  Around the glade.
  Suddenly, it strikes;
  A Snowball!
  "O Lina..."
  I scheme to myself
  How to repay
  This latest trick;
  Suddenly I know.
  "Ray Wing!" I cast
  Surrounding shield,
  Surrounding her.
  She pounds inside,
  "You will SUFFER!"
  "I think not."
  Calmly I watch
As I steer the slick bubble
  Into a drift,
  Fill it with snow
  "Zel!" she screams
  Voice indignant.
  Just the way
  Her eyes glow
  Captures me.
  The bubble bursts,
  Spraying snow.
  The others complain.
  Sly eyes gleam,
  A snowball drops,
  "Xellos!"
  An indignant cry,
  "That's unjust!"
  She pouts,
  Frustrated,
  "How can I try
  To get you back
  When you float there
  Above me!
  Unjust!"
  He just leans back
  On invisible air
  Mocking her,
  Until he finds
  That she's gone.
  Climbed a tree
  Above him.
  Serves him right
  I think
  As the snowball falls
  Distracted.
  It's not a good idea;
  Not against her;
  Suddenly she's here
  Before my eyes.
  Arms go around me.
  Too shocked to move
  'Till I feel it,
  Cold snow
  Down my back!
  I gasp in shock!
  She giggles.
  It's too much!
  I grab her,
  Push her down.
  Round and round,
  Over and over,
  Fighting for control,
  Snow flying,
  Suddenly,
  Lips meet.
  Shock.
  Stunned.
  How?
  Why?
  A scream echoes
  Through the grove,
  A body falls,
  I sigh.
  She's so clumsy.
  To her surprise
  He catches her,
  Holds her close.
  "Clumsy one."
  He teases.
  "Hands Off!"
  "You sure?"
  "Umm...no"
  "Thought so...
  Sweet"
  Hands grab me,
  I don't mind;
  Lips meet
  Again.
  We smile.
  "Why didn't you tell me?"
Both of us want to know.
  Both smile, then frown,
  Then smile again.
  "It doesn't matter."
  Glance up
  Much later
  Almost
  Faint
  Again
  It seems we're not alone
  In our miraculous vision,
  They also have seen
  Feelings long hidden.
  We smile.
Snow is warm.
