Prologue

This is my explination of the veiws in Dance of the Damned. I ask you to read this all the way through before deciding to read the story or not.

First, this story is just that. A story. It's not realy meant to convert you, simply to show a different side to things. This contains some religious veiws that may not agree with yours, but please, be tolerant. If you are a devout believer of your religion, and you are greatly offended by other religions, then don't read it. But I'd like anyone who does read it to attempt it with an open mind.

This story presents three points.

  1. I beleive that all religins are right. I beleive they are simply different veiws and peices of the same thing. Take, for instance, colors. We have the beleivers of blue, and the beleivers of purple, etc. All of them are true, just...peices of a bigger truth. And those are simply the colors we can SEE. Think of the limitless spectrum of energy emissions that our eyes aren't even able to perceive...
  2. religion is also wrapped around what people beleive. Beleif is power, and amazing energy, and should therefore be able to change things. The truth can be shaped by different energy, and therefore I beleive the the amount of beleif will change who dieties are, what they are like, and what they represent.
  3. Most importantly, I want you to keep in mind that I'm wrong. I know I'm wrong. This cannot be entirely correct, because there is no black or white. None except in theory. There are shades of grey in everything. I know that there is a grain of truth in the most batant lie, and a grain of falsity in the purest truth. most of all, There is no one, true way. There is no right answer. There are many. It simply depends on who you are.

I've been told that acceptors of said that by worshipping God, you purge yourself of Satan, and make yourself wholly good. Thus, a truly good person will naturally believe in God. You may or may not beleive this. I do not. To me, his is akin to saying that since a square is a quadrilateral, quadrilaterals may only be squares. I may be taking it wrong. I may be misqouting. In any case, I wanted to write this showing my veiws in this. I hope you enjoy my attempt, and even though this is not made in any way to convert you in any form, I would be lying if I said I didn't hope you walked away from it with a slightly more open mind than before.
