The wind picked up and rustled against the hair of a young man who had chosen tonight to take a walk by himself. He shuttered quietly and wrapped his cloak closer around his shivering form. He quickened his pace desiring the warmth of the camp fire he knew would await him. A damp fog slowly drifted in causing the air to becoming cooler.
"Damn! Why did it have to get this cold so fast. I'll freeze before I can get back to camp and then Lina will probably fireball the warmth back into me. Although it doesn't sound so bad right now."
Zelgadis suddenly felt dizzy. The thick fog seemed to way him down as his clothes absorbed the moisture. He began to feel slightly warm as his forehead radiated heat. He stumbled and fell to his knees. To his horror he couldn't find the strength to lift himself up. He hadn't been prepared for a cold and it had been so long since he last had one that his body couldn't take the fever. The dizziness came back and forced him to lay down and the cold, moist ground. As a pair of feet approach him, he blacked out.
"Poor Zelgadis" the man said with the husky voice. "All alone and... Zelgadis?" He quickly checked the chimera's forehead. "Oh Zelgadis... you have a fever. I can't heal someone. Shit!" Xelloss looked around to no avail. The others were fast asleep and it would be hours before they noticed their missing companion and then Zel could be... Xelloss shuttered. No he would have to save him. "Come on Zel-kun" Xelloss said as he lifted the chimera. "Time for some nice RR&C. Rest, Relaxation, and maybe later some cuddling ne?" He smiled as he lifted up the unconscious chimera and teleported away.
All that was going through Zel's mind was the fact that he was now near a source of warmth and he wanted more. He cuddled into the warmth which gently began to smooth out his hair. That feels nice Zel thought. What a minute heat sources don't rub back unless... The surprised chimera opened his eyes widely and sit up to come nose to nose with..... Xelloss?
"AHHHHHHHHH!" Zelgadis screamed and fall off the bed only to land on someone else's foot. He blushed and started to stammer an apology before he looked up to find a exotic woman looking down at him as she smoked a cigarette. "Hello Zelgadis Greywords. Welcome to Wolf Pack Island. My name is Zellas Metalium."
After picking his jaw up off the floor the flustered chimera asked the question of the day. "Huh?"
"Let me explain" Zellas offered and Xelloss came up to sit by Zelgadis. "My son Xelloss has been astonished by your remarkable beauty and for some time. Tonight he was going to seduce you and rape you if he had to but unfortunately you were strickened with an illness. Therefore he saved your stoney hide and brought you back home. He has taken care of you for the last week and tended towards your every need. Now what do you have to say about that Mister Greywords."
"Xelloss? You saved me?" The mazoku nodded as the chimera blushed. "Why?"
"Because Zel-chan.." Xelloss looked into the deep azure eyes staring at him. "I love you."
"Xelloss I don't know what to say"
"Don't say anything Zel-chan... answer with your heart." Zelgadis looked down and then back up into the ameythist depths.
"Xel-san I love you too" The mazoku grinned and moved in to give the chimera a kiss.
"Well I think I will leave you alone now..." Zellas chuckled. Two hands moved up to wave goodbye as she teleported out. She smiled to herself. "It's about time Xel-kun found a mate. He was getting quite irritable.
Deep into the castle the sounds of two lovers starting a wondrous life together were heard. "So Zel-kun when would you like to go back to the group?" Xelloss asked as he nipped an elven ear.
"Oh no hurry.... Xel-san?"
"Hmmm?"
"Could we do that again?"
Xelloss grinned. "I think it can be arranged." Their lips met again as the world disappeared around them.
