Kyoko wolk up at 6:00am and then began getting ready for school. Kyoko was an 11th grader at Nagarashi High School. Kyoko was of average height with long red-purple hair witch she always wore in two ponytails off to each shoulder tided loosely at the ends with a black ribbon. She also wore sparkly clips in her hair, and earrings that matched the clips in her hair. Kyoko had beautiful golden eyes that always seemed to sparkle. Kyoko was not like the other girls at school, she was never cheery and optimistic, she always seemed sad or really bored.
Kyoko didn't have meny friends at school, no one seemed to want to get to know her. The teachers at Nagarashi had given up on her, all the work they gave her was to easy so she did the work then sat in class and did what she felt like. Kyoko refused to go to a more advanced class, she liked the easy classes. As Kyoko had told her friends her problem was that she was bored, nothing interesting ever happened to her nothing fun or exciting. She had never met anyone interesting and never had anything exciting happen to her, or even around her.
Kyoko was ready for school by 6:45am, she walked outside her apartment building and leaned up against the wall by the main entrance. "Today will be no different. DAMN MY LIFE IS SO FREAKING BORING! sigh" Kyoko looked out onto the crowded sidewalk, she did not have to leave for 5 more minutes, "I DON'T WANT TO GO TO SCHOOL TODAY!" Then as she stared out into the street she herd some shouting and looked over. To see what the commotion was.
When she looked over she saw a group of boys from Nagarashi running threw a crowed of people, the buys looked terrified of something but what was it? "What are they running from?" Kyoko was surprised to see these particular boys running scared, sense they where the on the resulting team at school and where also the best on the team! The 6 boys ran true the crowed side walk pushing threw all the people.
Next threw the crowed came 2 boys, they stopped right in front of her, the leader took a step forward and yelled to the Nagarashi boys, "AND WE BETTER NOT CATCH YOU PUNKS ON OUR TURF AGAIN!" This boy was odviously the leader of the 2, sence he was leading the other boy threw the crowd. He did not look very strong, but had to of been, to scare off the jocks from her school. The leader was kind of short with slicked back hair and he wore a green uniform on. Then there was his friend he was tall, with curly orange hair, and a blue uniform. MY GOD HE IS SO UGLY! Kyoko thought to herself. The leader turned to his friend "WE SURE SHOWED THEM KUWABARA!"
"YEA URIMESHI I BET WE NEVER SEE THEM AROUND OUR NEIBOURHOOD AGAIN!" the friend, Kuwabara, replied. MY GOD HIS VOICE IS EVEN UGLY! Kyoko thought to herself as she passed judgment again.
Then threw the crowd came another boy and joined in with the two boys, who greeted him. This new boy was not like the other two, he seemed more mature and he was very handsome. WOW! she thought to herself, he was short with black pointy hair, he wore a band around his forehead, he was dressed all in black and he had blood red eyes. The Kuwabara person turned to him, "WOW HIEI YOU SURE MIST THE BEST PART, THEY JUST RAN OUT LIKE SCARED LITTLE GIRLS!"
This new boy, Hiei, spoke next, "You shouldn't waste your time on small frys like them." WOW! he is the oposite of that Kuwabara guy, even his voice is nice, Kyoko thought again.
Next came the Urimeshi guy "Yea it was ok, they reminded me of you Kuwabara, HA HA JUST LIKE YOU A SMALL FRY!"
"Hay you little punk you wanna go, cause I'm ready when you are!"
"No, that's ok Kuwabara I've already wasted enough time on wimps like you today..."
Kuwabara cut him off, "You jerk Yusuke I'll kill...Besides school will start soon and if im late again Keiko will kill me."
Then it hit her "OH MY GOD IM LATE FOR SCHOOL!" Yusuke, Kuwabara, and Hiei turned around and looked at her. "YOU JERKS ARE REALLY DISTRACTING YOU KNOW THAT!" Kyoko screamed, then she then turned and ran for Nagarashi.
"WHAT'S HER PROBLEM!" Kuwabara shouted. "WHO CARES! DAMN I'M LATE TOO sigh WHY DOES KEIKO HAVE TO BE SO PRO-SCHOOL!" Yusuke turned and ran in the other direction for school with Kuwabra following him. As he ran Kuwabara shouted out "SEE YOU LATER MIDGET!" he then ran faster in hopes of outrunning the small demon. Hiei just stood there looking very confused, he then ran off in the direction Kyoko went.
I must see her again he thought as he ran torts the direction Kyoko had gone. He began to think, who was that girl? Why am I going after her? And why am I attracted to her!? Hiei just kept running hopping he would find her. Then as he got to Nagarshi he saw her walk into the school. It was all over now! "CRAP! Now i'll have to wait till school is out to see her again!" Hiei leaned up against the wall across from Nagarashi and waited. He stared up into the school windows and watched hopping to see her again.
Kyoko had been thinking about Hiei all morning, will I ever see him again? She thought to herself. To keep her mind off Hiei she told everyone about what happened that morning and how the wrestling team jerks had been beat up. Of course no one believed her, she always told crazy stories about people from school she didn't like. After the story of the principal killing his wife and running off to Europe with his pool boy, no one believed her anymore. But she still told stories even if no one believed her. Bye the end of the day Kyoko was as board as ever as she sat in history class.
Kyoko had finished all her work and was sitting in the back of the class, as always, drawing pictures of what ever she felt like. Then she got up to sharpen her pencil, even though she had a pen, she liked staring out the window into the street. When she looked out she saw Hiei standing there looking tired. She stared at him and thought to herself, OH MY GOD IS HE HERE TO SEE ME!? Hiei felt someone staring at him so he looked up, and saw Kyoko. Kyoko and Hiei made eye contact and Kyoko waved at him. Hiei began to blush a deep red, then he but up a hand as if to wave. Kyoko giggled and waved again, he grew so very embarrassed that he looked off to the left of the street and then to the right and ran off. Kyoko giggled and then thought, WOW he must have been here to see me! I hope he comes back, then she giggled again.
"Miss Kyoko do you find my history class funny!?" Kyoko turned around to see Mr. Mego looking at her with an angary face, and the rest of the class staring at her.
"No sir, but I do find your face funny."
The entire class broke off into laughter, as Mr. Mego's face grew red with anger. "That's It miss Kyoko you have detention with me for the next 2 weeks!"
Kyoko's jaw dropped, "Hay that's not fare, just because you have no life doesn't mean you have to ruin mine!"
The entire class broke off into laughter again, and Mr. Mego's face grew even red. "Fine now you have a month of detention!"
Kyoko fell back into her seat, "DAMN! MY PARENTS ARE GOING TO KILL ME!" Kyoko tried to act upset up she new her parents would not care and that they would not notice.
School got out and Kyoko stayed for detention, Hiei waited outside the school but she didn't come out. WHERE IS SHE! Did she sneak out so she wouldn't have to see me! Hiei thought the worst. Finally Kyoko was let out of school, she went out torts where she had seen Hiei but he wasn't there. Then she herd foot stepped behind her, so she turned around and found Hiei standing in front of her blushing a deep red. "Hi," Hiei was feeling uncomfortable he had never done this before.
"Um ... hi ... your name is Hiei right."
"Um ... yes ... it is."
"My name is Kyoko," she was feeling very uncomfortable also, "So Hiei where you waiting for me?"
Hiei began to stutter, "Um ... well .... I ... er ...." Kyoko looked down at her feet," I was hopping you where." Hiei's face turned even redder, "I have to go," Hiei turned around and went to leave.
Kyoko retched out and took his hand and pulled him back, "No, please stay, I want to talk with you."
Hiei would have usually killed anyone who was to touch him, but he did not mind it when it was Kyoko, "I don't know ... I ...," Hiei turned and looked at Kyoko.
"Please Hiei."
"Well, I don't know ... um ... what will we talk about?"
"Hmmmmmmmm," Kyoko thought for a second, "Well we could ... OH WAIT I HAVE TO GET HOME! IM LATE! come on you can walk me and we will see what happens from there ... ok?"
"Um ok I guess," Hiei was not use to this, and he was uncomfortable with the hole situation, but he did like Kyoko and he wanted to make her happy, so he went along with her.
