Arrival

Over the next few nights, the priest and shaman didn't really get to have any 'sessions' with one another, but that was okay. Now that the group of four all knew their little secret, the two spent their nights cuddled up together by the fire as Zel slept and Xel watched him do so.

Xelloss loved watching the chimera sleep. It was the only time Zelgadis's masks all truly came down, exposing him completely. He would stroke Zel's back as the by far younger man smiled in his sleep, wondering what he dreamed of. When the nightmares struck, the two snuggled even closer to one another, Xel trying to comfort his lover as best he could without going into his mind once more.

The group continued traveling in this way until they reached Filia's house/vase and mace shop. Three were met with a smiling face. One was met with

"NAMAGOMI!!!!" BASH

"Nice to see you, too, Filia-chan," the priest replied.

"Lina-san! Why did you let him come?" the former dragon priestess shouted, making shooing motions at Jiras to close the door to Val's room.

"Please," Lina replied, "You think I could honestly stop Xelloss from doing something if he wanted to do it? Besides, he promised to be civil while he's here."

"And what does 'civil' mean?"

"That I won't taunt you so far as to go into a mace rage." ^_^

Zel crossed his arms at his lover. "And you'd better stick to that. I would like to keep a roof over my head during our stay."

Filia sighed and put away her mace, tucking it discretely away under her skirt. "Well then, come along and I'll show you to your rooms," she stated, already climbing up the stairs. "Oh, where is Amelia-san? Wasn't she supposed to be coming with you?"

"Yeah, she was but she got upset when she s-umf!" Gourry was quickly silenced by a bunny slipper to the mouth courtesy of Lina. The sorceress giggled and waved her hands in a carefree gesture.

"Amelia decided to go home. She did tell us to give her regards though."

That night, as Zelgadis slipped under the covers, he met another body in his bed.

"Hi, Zel-chan!"

"Hello, Xelloss."

"Mou, what's with the long face?" his lover asked, poking at the chimera's stone cheeks, before poking at more...interesting parts of his anatomy.

"X-Xelloss!" he whispered.

"Yes?" poke, poke

"Stop that!"

"Stop what?" stroke, stroke

"Ohh," he groaned slightly. "We can't do this. Not in Filia's house."

"Why ever not? Lizard Lips is already fast asleep, as is most everyone else in the house."

"Who isn't asleep?"

"Him," the mazoku stated, pointed to a crib near the window. "Why she stuck you in his room is beyond me."

"She did that because there were no other rooms left. Unless you'd like to share a room with Jiras?"

"I think not. He wouldn't be very fun to play with." ^_^

"Xelloss, I am not making love to you in front of a baby!"

"Why not? He did the exact same thing we want to do in his last life."

Zel's eyes widened. "Valgaav? He never struck me as the type..."

"You don't think that whole 'I'll avenge Gaav-sama' thing was his Mazoku servant side wanting to get vengeance for his master, do you?"

"Well, maybe not completely..."

"So you see, there's no reason not to!" the priest cried, beginning his ministrations yet again.

"Yes, there is!"

"No there's not; I put a silence spell up around the room. No one will hear a thing. What's the real problem, Zel-chan?"

Zelgadis lied back on the soft yet sturdy mattress, sighing as he studied the tiles on the ceiling. "We shouldn't have done that the other day. Amelia didn't need to know about us just yet. I think it really hurt her, but...dammit, why didn't I stop her from leaving, Xelloss? Her heart gets broken because of me and I just stand there, making her pick up the pieces herself. I didn't even attempt to comfort her. I'm such a bastard."

"Zel-chan," the priest whispered, dragging his form on top of the chimera's as he pulled Zel's hands away from his face. "It's not your fault. I'm the one that suggested making out in the woods, remember? And she didn't exactly give you the time to be comforting. She just found out the truth and decided she needed to go. Don't worry so much. Broken hearts mend in time. Amelia just needs a chance to recover. I'm sure the next time we see her, our favourite little princess will be bouncing with joy and spurting her little justice speeches all over the place." As much as it'll make me sick to hear them, he mentally added.

His lover smirked, remembering one of the countless times that Amelia had done a speech and hopped off her speaking spot, only to fall flat on her face. "Her flair for the dramatic," he mumbled, shaking his head.

"Well you've got your own flair, my dear."

"I do not."

"Yes you do!" the mazoku replied, snuggling even closer to his chimera. "You may not do it on purpose, or even realize that you're doing it, but you give quite the impressive performance when in battle. So agile, you're like a dancer. A dancer in so many, many things."

By this time, Xelloss had gotten back into horny little teenager mode, and had taken to doing some rather arousing things to Zel's body. It should be noted that Zelgadis wasn't stopping him.

"Oh, forget Val," the shaman sighed, then pulled Xel in for a kiss. They spent the rest of the night in their favourite and too-long abandoned activity.
