"Yes, but it is a risk both for us and for them. Are you in love?"
"Yes." Zelgadiss barely breathed, once more not paying attention to his answer as he enjoyed the rare view of a seriously honest Xellos. "Would you take that risk?" He wasn't really sure where these questions were coming from anymore, and he didn't care. Xellos looked down at him and Zelgadiss felt himself being captured by the mazoku's amethyst gaze.
"Yes." The trickster priest answered, holding the chimera's gaze before breaking it momentarily as he left the tree and appeared in front of him. "Zelgadiss, do you love me?"
The chimera blushed under the intensity of Xellos' gaze. He had to answer the question, Quid Pro Quo, but if he did... "Yes." He replied again, deciding to take a risk himself here.
"Good." Xellos said with a genuine smile. "Game over." He leaned forward and caught Zelgadiss' mouth in a deep kiss, ending all desire for conversation.
