Lina: This is the epilogue...
Zel: So that means...
LZ: THIS IS ALMOST OVER!
S. Angel: Oh, shut up.
Lina: Where did the Fruitcake go off to, anyway?
muffled screaming from another room
S. Angel: Ki. Should I say more?
Zel: Ah, no.
S. Angel: I just hope that Xellos doesn't pass out before she's done.
Lina: By the way, can you tell her to stop hitting on me and Zel?
S. Angel: I can try... Doesn't mean she'll listen, though.
LZ: sigh
S. Angel: Well, let's start the epilogue!
Zelgadis woke up to the feeling of someone holding him. Startled, he turned his head to see who it was.
Lina yawned, and opened her eyes as well. "Hey, Zel," she whispered. Then, she realized her position. "Er, um, I can explain..."
"It's alright," he said, stroking her head. "You went into my dream, didn't you?"
"Yeah..."
The chimera kissed her forehead. "Thank you, Lina."
She shifted slightly, then said, "Zel? Before you... well... you said you loved me. Did... did you mean that?"
His sapphire eyes widened in surprise. "Lina..." Zel lifted her chin, and looked into her ruby eyes. "Lina, I meant that. I love you. I always will." Gently, he kissed her soft lips. "I-I..."
Lina wrapped her arms around him, crying. "Zel, y-you... I love you too. And I was s-so afraid that I had lost you... I don't ever want to lose you! Never!" She sobbed against his chest as he held her close.
"It's alright, Lina." She lifted her tear filled eyes to him. "I won't ever leave you. I promise." He ran a hand down her back as he passionately kissed her. She moaned into his mouth, and moved her body against his. Zel rolled on top of her, kissing her furiously. Then, he slipped a hand between her legs.
Lina gasped as he slipped a finger into her, moving her hips upward. He moved his finger upward into her, and was rewarded with another moan. When he pulled it out, the redhead scowled at him. "Zel, don't stop. Don't you dare stop."
He kissed her, then positioned himself over her. Then, as gently as he could, he slid into her, making her arch with pleasure. They moved together, and Lina thought that if he didn't finish, she would scream. Finally, she reached her climax, biting back a loud yell.
Zel reached his right after her, and yelled her name. She wiggled out from under his exhausted body, and curled up next to him. "I love you," she said, hushed.
He held her close, and said, "I love you too. Forever."
Then, they drifted off to sleep.
S. Angel: See? It wasn't that bad!
Lina: To you.
S. Angel: Still contemplating homicide?
Zel: We're up to the Dragu Slave now.
S. Angel: You guys are evil! Evil I say! Well, nothing wrong with that...
Lina: I've been wondering, Jess-chan...
S. Angel: growl
Lina: Sorry. Silver Angel. I've been wondering... why did you call this "Dream Within Dream Beyond Dream"?
S. Angel: Um... It gets kinda deep... Sorta like this: Sometimes, in a dream, you're just waking up. So what if you have a dream, only to wake up in another dream? Would you know when you're awake? So, the dream Zel's been having in this story is a dream within another dream, but it's actually beyond any normal dream. Does that make sense?
LZ: No.
S. Angel: Oh, well. You know the drill. I don't appreciate flames. After all, I'm not Lina. Ja ne!
