Deep Sea Dolphin crept up behind her prey quietly. She smiled evilly, then attacked.
"Aa! Dolph, what are you doing?!" Xellas laughed. Deep Sea Dolphin kissed her lover, then got up off her.
"Can't I be happy to see you?"
Xellas shook her head. "You... Oh, did I tell you? I found a General/Priest!"
"Oh? Really? Who are they?" Deep Sea Dolphin asked.
"My Mistress," a purple haired man said, appearing next to Xellas.
"Dolph, this is my General/Priest," the Juu-ou said proudly, throwing an arm across the man's shoulders. "He took the name Xellos Metallium."
Deep Sea Dolphin smiled at him. "Hello, Xellos."
"Xel, this is my lover, Deep Sea Dolphin," Xellas introduced, motioning to the Kai-ou. Xellos took her hand and kissed it.
"It's an honor to meet my Mistress's lover," he said, bowing.
Deep Sea Dolphin blushed. "Thank you." Then, she turned to Xellas. "Do you remember what day it is today?"
"What do I look like, one of your imps?" she laughed. "It's our anniversary! Xellos, would you please leave us alone? It's a special time."
He nodded. "I understand, Mistress." Then teleported away.
The Juu-ou turned to her lover. "I got my bed fixed yesterday. Wanna go see and test it out?"
Deep Sea Dolphin laughed. "That was blunt!"
"Does that mean no?"
"Did I say no?"
Laying in her own bed, Deep Sea Dolphin was deep in thought. It had been five years since Xellos had become the Juu-ou's General/Priest. And during that time, it seemed that Xellas had been less in love with her than the past.
But that's silly. If I was less secure, I would think that she was in love with Xellos now...
But the thought stuck with her. L-sama, does she? Has she cheated on me with him? Oh, that's even sillier. Why would she love one of her own minions?
She rolled over, the thoughts plaguing her. Does she?
"Hey, Dolph, I can't really spend any time with you right now."
Deep Sea Dolphin nodded, calm on the outside. Inside, she was reeling. Xellas always made time for her in the past. "That's alright, Xellas." Then, she turned around, near tears.
Oh, L-sama. I'm right. I wanted to be wrong... I so wanted to be wrong...
She stood outside the cave, then a thought passed by here. She could read Xellas's mind, and see if she was right. With a deep breath, Deep Sea Dolphin reached out, and touched the Juu-ou's mind.
She learned the truth, but it was quickly overridden by multiple images from the wolf part of Xellas Metallium. Since Deep Sea Dolphin wasn't a hunter by choice, the wolf instincts crashed through her, stripping away her mind. She pulled back, but the damage had irreplaceably been done. For a minute, the Kai-ou sat there, trembling, then she starting throwing around Dolph Slashes like they were on sale.
"Kill! Kill! Kill everything!" she yelled. "No! I don't want to run with the pack again. I don't! Don't! Burn! Fall!" Phantom images reached out for her, and she instinctively threw out lances to get rid of them. "No! Go away!"
Xellas rushed out, hastily pulling on a robe. Then, she saw Deep Sea Dolphin's state. "No! Dolph, don't!" she yelled, trying to placate her former lover. She ducked a Dolph Slash, then touched the Kai-ou's forehead. The sleep spell she had prepared took hold, and Deep Sea Dolphin slumped, sleeping. "Oh, Dolph. I didn't mean to hurt you like this..."
Scylla looked up from her book, feeling her mistress teleport back into her domain. The Priest stood up, and started to greet her. "My Mistress, welcome... Mistress!"
Deep Sea Dolphin was lying there, her clothing in tatters. There were claw marking in her skin, and it was obvious that it was self inflicted. "Kill, kill everything..." she whispered. Then, "NO! Xellas, don't leave me! I don't want to be without you! NO!" she yelled, hands outreached to something only she could see.
Scylla cradled her mistress in her arms, keeping her from bolting. "M-mistress..."
Xellas sat down on the cliff that she and Deep Sea Dolphin had become lovers. She stared out over the sea, and allowed one tear run down her face. "I-I'm sorry, Dolph... I didn't want to hurt you..."
Xellos came up behind her, and touched his mistress's shoulder. "Is everything alright, Xellas?"
She brushed his hand off of her. "No. Not anymore."
