Zel looked over at Lina while she was sleeping. He kept thinking of her all through the night on his watch. How if he could just hold her for one night, he would be so happy. She probably only thinks of me as a traveling companion and nothing more, so why get my hopes up?

While traveling the next day, Lina kept looking over at Zel when she thought he wouldn't notice. She sighed. I just want to tell him I love him, but what would he want with a flat chested little girl?
I wish that this night would never end

That night while Lina was on watched, she gazed at Zel's peaceful sleeping form. He is so drop dead gorgous, and he just thinks of himself as a monster and a freak. I want to show him he's wrong. she thought. At that moment, Zel woke up, to take over the watch. Lina walked over to him. "Zel," she said, "we need to talk. Right now."
"Well, what is it that you want to talk to me about?" he answered.
"For the longest time, I've loved you. It's the truth. The honest truth. I just want to show you you're not a freak like you think you are and I want to love you if you will love me." she sputtered out.
Zel was shocked. Then finally he responded. "I've loved you for the longest time but didn't want to say anything to ruin what friendship we had." He then leaned over and kissed her. Deeply.

Lina couldn't believe what she was doing. Or where she was. Finally, she was with someone that understood her and accepted her for who she was.
Zel was estatic. Finally he found someone who did care he was made out of stone and he wanted this moment to last forever.

They slowly walked away from the campsite, hand in hand. They found a peaceful spot by a lake and decided to stay there for a while. It was an all out make out fest. Both of them were at last with the one they loved, and enjoyed every minute of it. "Zel," Lina started.
"Huh?" he asked.
"We better not tell Amelia about this just yet, she'll be heartbroken." Lina said.
"You're right, we'll tell her later."
