Chapter 6: Rubberband Wars Part 2: Losing to the Miko

No longer is each other's death the primary objective, the dual loss using lethal weapons proved that. Duo and Suboshi are too evenly matched. They have, however, found an alternative to this particular type of warfare. Rubberbands. Lines have been drawn in the kitchen (the only place they can agree on), mainly because this type of war needs ammo and forts. Duo positions a rubberband catapult, guaranteed to sproing plastic like no other. Sproing Suboshi dodges. Sproing Suboshi dodges again. Sproing He dances around yet another projectile.

Duo: Will you hold still!

Sproing Dodge some more.

Suboshi: The man! Can't hit me!

Sproing Dodge like crazy.

Suboshi: Ha! Thhbbbtttsss!

Duo rears back and shoots off two more of the plastic bands of death. Suboshi ducks and returns fire. Pow Rubberband between the eyes. Duo is down. He recovers quickly, however, when Suboshi makes a move for his fort. Then Steph walks in, unnoticed. Duo pulls his back-up string. The string that's attached to the wall rubberband ejectors on his side. SPROING A hail of rubber flies through the room.

Suboshi: Duck and Cover!

Suboshi follows his own advice and ducks and covers. The miko, however, in not so lucky. Thwap Steph's prone, covered in rubberbands.

Steph: That is it!

Steph grabs the 'bands, pulls her ever-present supply of ammo (paperclips) out of her pockets and lets fly. The two bishounen are so doomed. While dodging under far more painful fire, the two have no time to retaliate. Steph backs into the kitchen proper and shuts the door. BangClangSplashCrashThud The two share glances. Silence. The two move carefully towards the door, turn the handle, and ... get nailed by what looks like a wall of whipped cream. A second later the two are plastered to the floor, covered with the stuff. Steph smiles from the doorway.

Steph: ^_^ Gotcha. ^_^
