"Amelia, you look like you didn't get a wink of sleep last night," Gourry said looking at the bags under her eyes.
"Well, Gourry, that's because I didn't get a wink of sleep last night," Amelia replied. Lina turned to Zelos.
"So, Zelos, where to?" Lina asked. Zelos pointed across the forest into the distance.
"Over there. I sense a weird magical energy coming from there, and that's where Kira grew up. Right, Kira?" Zelos looked down at her. She nodded happily.
"Okay, but I also hear there are lots of trolls in that area. Let's split up, so that we'll be less noticeable," Zelgadis suggested. Lina nodded.
"Amelia, Zelos, and Gourry, you go up that way. I'll head this way with Zel and Kira," Lina said. They nodded and set off.
"I don't see any trolls, Zel doesn't know what he's talking about," Zelos said in an annoyed voice. Gourry put his hand over his eyes to shade them from the sun.
"No, but I see a ton of chicks," he said.
"What!?" Amelia yelled as Alex appeared before her.
"I've been waiting for you Amelia! I'm so lucky my old group was traveling up this way. You're going to pay!" Alex smiled.
"Now, you listen to me, I'm beat up and tired all because of you! Give me a break!" Amelia screamed. Alex grinned.
"But you said there were no rules. So, this is fair! If you don't like it then give up!" Alex laughed. Amelia clinched in anger.
"You..."
"Okay, get her girls! Break her limbs, soon she won't be able to walk, let alone travel!" Alex laughed again. The group lunged forward, then just stopped in their tracks.
"What's wrong girls? Give her what she deserves!" Alex ordered.
"Are you really Gourry Gabrieve?!" One of the girls cried.
"Wow! Their even cuter in person!"
"Zelos too! Wow!"
"Can we have your autographs?"
"You blockheads!! You just ruined my sweet revenge!" Alex cried. Amelia glared up at her then laughed.
"Some mercenaries! See ya, Alex!" Amelia cried as she ran off. Zelos gasped.
"Hey, Amelia, wait up!" He ran after her.
"Wait, Zelos!"
"No fair, Amelia!"
I'm jealous ... Oh, well, Gourry!" The girls all cried out at once. Gourry looked confused.
"Hey, where are you guys going? Don't you want to stay with the cute girls?" He asked. He just looked around and then ran after them.
Lina looked down at her watch.
"Where are they? They're late ... " She said, standing there with Zelgadis and Kira. They nodded.
"What if Zelos got attacked by one of those mean old trolls?!" Kira gasped. Zelgadis looked down at her.
"Don't worry, I was just kidding. Because I don't want to get mixed up in Amelia's problems with that girl ... As long as they don't get to those pictures ... " He said. Lina looked up.
"What was that, Zel?" She asked.
"Oh, nothing."
Amelia, Zelos, and Gourry all ran toward them short of breath.
"Good we lost them ... " Amelia said between gasps of air.
"Lost who?" Lina asked.
"Alex ... " Amelia replied.
"Okay, whatever ... Let's look around," Lina turned to Kira.
"Okay, Kira, lead the way!" Kira nodded happily.
"Think she'll find anything?" Zelgadis asked Zelos.
"Maybe. You know Kira has magic. I bet she could sense out magic power," Zelos replied.
"Do you think she has prediction magic?" Zelgadis asked.
"Maybe. Why?"
"Nothing..."
"Hey, guys, the Inn is here. You guys need to check in right?' Kira asked
"We can later. Let's keep looking," Zelos replied.
"Zelos-san, I'm going get us checked in and stay at the Inn for awhile. I'll meet back with you later," Amelia said. Zelos nodded.
"Okay, come on, Kira," Zelos said. She nodded and ran off with others trying to keep up with her.
"Okay Amelia, you won't be so lucky this time," Alex said as she climbed through the Inn window. "She went that way," Alex said to herself. She quietly crept up to her door then opened it.
Before she could do anything Amelia lunged at her and tossed her into a chair and tied her down.
"I knew you would follow me. You're SO obvious!" Amelia said.
"Brat! Untie me right now!" Alex ordered.
"Not till watch one of my favorite films!" Amelia rushed over to the TV and turned on the VCR. As the movie started Alex sighed.
"Oh, boy ... Akira ... " She said in an annoyed voice.
"If you take watching volume four so bad this ought to be fun!" Amelia laughed. Alex grinned.
"Not really. After having to watch volume four of Slayers in dubbed again, I've learned to control myself!" Alex slips hand onto her belt and cuts the ropes with her sword. Amelia gasps.
"There's only one thing to do in a situation such as this ... Run!" Amelia scrabbled to her feet as Alex began chasing her.
"You're not going to get away this time!" Alex cried. Amelia into her room and locked the door. Alex pounded and pounded on the door.
"Mark my words Amelia! I'm gonna get you!"
"So, no Claire Bible, huh?" Amelia asked the group when they returned. Zelos sighed.
"Nope ... Who knows where the others are? I swear you can never find a good Claire Bible when you need one!" He complained. There was a knock on the door and Lina stood up to get it.
"You ordered 50 orders of this sushi, chicken dinner, and sukiyaki right?"
The hall was filled with men carrying boxes of food. Lina gasped.
"This is the room of princess Amelia right?" The man asked. Amelia made her hands into fists.
"Curse you Alex! I feel so mad that it kinda makes me want to throw a fire ball. In fact I think I'm gonna throw a fire ball!" A fire appeared on her hands. The men gasped as she threw it burning them all to a crisp.
"I won't let her beat me!" Amelia cried triumphantly.
"I wonder if the takeout worked ... " Alex said to herself. "I better get into town ... " She said as she walked toward it. She walked silently down the street.
"Wow just check out the guys in this village!" She thought to herself. "This might be a good opportunity."
She heard gagging and screams coming from them as she passed, as though tear gas.
"What the hell-" Alex heard laughing and looked up at Amelia.
"You ... !" Alex tensed in anger.
"That potion I put on you makes it so men can't stand you! A little edge, I hid in your bags while you were tied up in my room!" She said.
"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!!" Alex screamed.
"Hey, Buck Sara and I are going out to get some things. You can just rest in my room if you want" Amanda offered to Sara's boyfriend.
"Thanks, I think I will," he replied. Amanda slipped out of the room to her sister.
"Great isn't he?" Sara asked her little sister. Amanda nodded.
"Yeah, except he's too nice," she said sarcastically.
Buck laid down on Amanda's bed looking around. He tripped on a box on the floor. It cracked open and photos began falling down.
"What are these?" Buck asked himself while catching them. "Wait a minute! These are-"
Kira and the others walked down the streets.
"I don't sense anything ... " Lina said in an annoyed voice.
"Just keep going," Zelos replied.
Kira happily walked passed the other people listening to their conversations. Sara and Amanda passed laughing. Kira stopped.
"What's wrong, Kira?" Gourry asked.
"That's her!" Kira followed them with the others wearily following her. Lina ran up to Kira's side.
"Hey, that's Sara and Amanda isn't it. Let's go say hi!" Lina rushed ahead with the others following. Alex sat in the trees watching.
"Sara and ... Wait a minute!" She sprang to her feet following.
"Sara, Amanda!" Lina called. The girls looked up.
"Hi, Lina. Come on in!" Amanda said. They all stepped in with Alex waiting by the window, listening. The group just sat there talking. Buck came in.
"Umm ... Amanda I found this in your room and-" He began. She gasped.
"Oh, just put it in my jewelry box will you?" She asked.
"Okay ... " He walked out of the room. Alex grinned. She waits a minute then looks back in to see that Buck is out talking with them now.
"Okay, that says Amanda ... In the jewelry box ... " She slipped it open. "Where's the box?" She gasped. "She's coming back ... Damn! I gotta split! At least I'll know that Amelia didn't find them ... " She sighed and jumped out the window.
Outside the others were leaving their house smiling, Kira looking confused.
"Buck, I told you to put it in MY room, not Sara's!" Amanda said angrily.
"Sorry ... I'm just don't know my way around your house, I must have mixed up ... "
"Whatever Amanda looks at is none of my business ... I'm sure Sara has nothing to do with it ... " Buck thought.
