Lina and Zelgadiss lay next to each other, looking up at the stars. Zel had an arm around Lina's shoulders, and she rested her head under his, snuggling close.
"Do I get to tell Xelloss?" Zel asked suddenly.
"Huh?" Lina propped herself up with one arm. "Tell Xelloss what?"
"That he no longer has the honour of being the only one who can kiss Lina Inverse without being Dragu Slaved."
"You could tell him that...or you could tell him you're the only one Lina Inverse wants to kiss." And for emphasis, she leaned down and kissed him in earnest.
