Phibrizo gritted his teeth as he received no answer from his so called "business partner". Garv and Daluphin advanced on Phibrizo, and in a spark of teleportation, they disappeared out of sight, appeared once more, without Phibrizo. Garv laughed maniacally "No more Hellbrat! AH~~~HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA~!!!!!!!"
Daluphin sweatdropped "You don't have to laugh like that" Garv sweatdropped. Lina and the others cheered. Meanwhile, as Zel watched, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around to see Rezo behind him. Zel gritted his teeth, withholding a scream.
"You! Where did you come from!?" Zel was very surprised to see Rezo there.
Rezo nodded understandingly. "I went off in search of something."
Zel glared. "Oh? Like WHAT?"
"Your cure."
"What!? If you were going to cure me, then why didn't you do it then?" Rezo suddenly got a strange look on his face. "Well... the truth is,...... I forgot how." Zel facefaulted. Lina and the others were quite shocked to see Rezo.
Gourry who is confused says "Who is this guy?"
Lina goes over to Gourry and says "You are telling me that you don't remember Rezo the red priest."
Gourry answer "No can't remember a thing."
Lina goes over to Rezo and asks him "If you went to find him a cure how come you didn't tell us that."
Zel is still in shock says to Lina "What are you getting at."
Lina answers him "Well I don't really trust him after what happened the first time we met so I want to know why he didn't tell us."
Zel looks at Lina and says "You know you are right." Zel goes to Rezo and says "Why didn't you tell me the cure was for me after all." The group waits for Rezo to answer.
Rezo sweatdrops and scratches his head. "Hmm let's see, now why didn't I tell you about it?"
"It's not a difficult question." Zel grumbles.
"But it is much more difficult than you think, I wasn't exactly myself for much of that episode."
"What did you do with Phibrizzo anyway?" Lina asks as grandfather and grandson continue their conversation.
"Do you really want to know?"
"YES!!"
Garv sweatdrops. "Why?"
"I've got it...I know why I didn't tell you I was looking for the cure. I needed you to help with beating down the resurrected shabrinigdo!"
"And what about when we faced your copy after words?"
"Imperfect copy."
"Convenient explanation."
"Yeah you wouldn't be playing some sort of shadow game using us as puppets for your own nefarious purposes, would you?" Amelia asked.
"What ever makes you say that?"
"Hey aren't you that guy that fought us at the dragon place?"
Garv and Lina turn to glare at Gourry. "No...that was me."
"Oh, nevermind, I'll figure it out eventually."
"Gourry, why don't you just go play with that jelly-fish costume?"
Gourry scratched his head. "What Jelly-fish costume?"
Lina growled "That means go away and mind your own business you idiot!"
Gourry whined. "But Lina! You didn't say - "
"I'LL TELL YOU WHAT I'M SAYING YOU - "
Amelia grabbed Lina. "Lina! Please calm down!!!"
Everyone sweatdropped. Zel glared up at Rezo. "Okay, FINE. Now change me back."
Rezo sweatdropped. "That's what I came here to tell you."
"...Huh?"
"I came to tell you that..."
"...that...YOU FORGOT HOW TO CHANGE ME BACK!?!?!" Everyone gasped and stared at Zel's "out of character" outburst. Rezo sweatdropped. "Yes... Now if I could only remember if it was jangle staff, swing, change, wicked smile, or if it was swing, change, jangle staff, maniacal laugh..."
"STOPPIT!!! HOW COULD YOU FORGET SOMETHING AS IMPORTANT AS THAAAAT!?!?!?!?!" Zel jumped up and down as Rezo sweatdropped again.
"Well get as old as me and see if you can remember everything in detail." Zel turned red.
Lina and the others facefaulted. Lina gets up goes to Rezo and hits him in the head "You are such idiot you should know how to change him back since you were the one to give him that body."
Rezo answers "Well you do have a point there Lina but I am not sure how to."
Zel is getting upset since he is so close to becoming human again. Garv goes over to Zel and says "You mean you were once human."
Zel turns to him "Yes I was until Rezo turned me into a chimera and I have been searching for cure all this time."
"Does that answer your question Garv?" Garv nods yes.
"Oh that's right, you said something about being human when we fought that one time." Garv said.
"He did, he didn't whine about being a chimera or anything?" Lina asked.
"No, he said something about staying and fighting because he was human and not a mazoku."
"I was making a point about Xellos running away." Zel snapped between gritted teeth.
"...jangle staff, evil grin, left foot in, left foot out..."
"Oh that?" Garv remarked. "I was just trying to pysch you out...what could he have done if he stayed but get in your way?"
"Whatever, the point is that I'm not really human but I'd like to be."
"....shake it all about...no that's not right...."
"But the Hokey Pokey Priest here can't REMEMBER how to reverse the spell!!!"
"Zelgadis-san, am I going to have to tell you to calm down too?"
"Errgg....I. Am. So. Very. Sorry. That. I. Caused. Such. A. Disturbance." Zel grunted reluctantly. "Happy?"
"Not really, but I suppose it will do for now."
"Excuse me, Garv, but you still haven't told me what you did with Phibrizzo."
"Trust me you don't want to know."
"Oh go ahead and tell your Lina-chan what we did with the little brat." Everybody facefaulted.
"His...what?"
"This is what we did with the brat!" Garv snapped off suddenly, opening a scrying circle.
"Give me the mallet!! Give me the mallet!! Phibrizzo is tied up behind a podium in between to other pasty faced individuals who are watching a man in polka dots ride a unicycle in place and playing the accordian. There is a big gong off to the side, which Phibrizzo is desperately looking at. All the slayers crew sweatdrop...
"Oh, the bloody HORROR... GARV!!! IS THAT ALL YOU CAN DO!?!?!!?!?!" Lina grabbed at Garv's coat and tugged and shaked. "You should at LEAST make him watch the Jerry Springer show!!!"
Zel sweatdropped. Rezo suddenly brightened. "I got it!"
Zel glared. "Got WHAT!?"
"Jangle staff, triple twirling acrobat thing, evil laugh, evil smirk, and SLAP!"
As he said "slap", Rezo gave Zel a swift whack with his staff.
Zel fell onto the ground clutching his head. "OWWW!!! What'd you do that for!?!?!?!"
"Now Zel, if you were chimera, you wouldn't have felt that blow."
Zel gasped. "Huh!?"
Lina and the others look in shock. Zel looks at them and says "What are you looking anyway?"
Lina says "Zel you are human again."
Zel looks down at his body. He is no longer a chimera. He then turns to Rezo and says "It is about time you figure out how to change me back to normal."
Rezo says "Well you are right about that anyway looks like my job here is done."
Lina says "You are leaving us."
Gourry who has finally figured out who Rezo interrupts and says "He is the one who brought back Shabraindgo."
Lina turns around and says "Well it is about time you figure that you jelly-fish brain."
Zel turns to Rezo "Why don't you stay with us and help us fight off Zelas."
"We could use another person to help out."
"Zelas the Beastmaster?" Rezo asked. "Why would she want to kill Lina, there'd be no reason to send Xellos to protect if that were the goal."
"Well she is trying to kill us," Lina snapped. "She was working with Phibrizzo, and since he's....indisposed....we just have to deal with her now."
"Hey, weren't all three of those guys dead?" Gourry asked suddenly.
"Yeah, so?"
"Well who reserved them all?" Gourry asked.

"REINCARNATED YOU DOPE!!"
"Gourry does have a point, as bizarre as that may seem," Zelgadis noted. "Who could gain from resurrecting Garv, Phibrizzo and...Rezo?"
"Hmm...more importantly, how much of things are under their control?" And the slayers crew hummed as the credits began rolling and the writers retired to prepare for the next episode.
