The young girl watches Phibrizo silently, and laughs quietly to herself. "Why are you here, Hellmaster?" She giggles again, tossing the a dagger in her hand, one with the royal crest of Saillune engraved on its hilt, then quickly slides it into a sheath on her belt.
"It took me a long time to get this, Phibrizo, and I'm not going to let you get it from me. Grausherra would not want that at all."
Sherra leaps off of the building, landing silently a few streets away from Phibrizo and she begins to make her way to her new destination silently, fully aware of the dangerous presence that exists in this city with her.
Phibrizo stops, a strange feeling of having been watched washing over him. He turns around, just in time to see a figure vanish off of a building. Watching the area silently, then looking to the skies, he begins to leisurely make his way down the street, casually looking for the spy. After a bit of walking, the Hellmaster looks down an alleyway while passing by, stopping as he sees the raven haired girl quickly running through it; away from the palace.
"Odd. She carries the symbol of the royal family, but she wears the clothes of..." The young Lord stops as a sudden realization hits him. Before he can make any other decision, he turns and begins to race down the small street after her.
Sherra glances back, seeing the brat beginning to chase her down.
Why do these things have to always turn out like this for me?!
The young general grabs onto a crate and uses it, climbing onto the roof of the shop she's at. She doesn't notice the hand coming from the shadows, though, to attempt to pull her back.
Philos watches the general from his perch on the roof of an inn that's not too close to her. He pulls his knees up and crosses them.
"Hurry up, Brieze. We have to stall her so that our master can catch up to her." He speaks under his breath, sending the message to the Priest.
He hears a thought in response: "Understood."
Brieze remains in the shadows, slowly reaching through to Sherra, trying to find a secure object to grab hold of. He feels a hard object - a weapon's hilt - meet with his hand. Quickly, the priest closes his fingers over it, pulling the sword towards him.
Sherra opens her eyes wide as a sense of danger flashes through her mind. She reaches for Dolgufa at her side to find... a hand?
"Dolgufa?!" Phibrizo sees the Mazoku blade as his priest reveals it. "What the hell is going on? Why is Sherra here?!"
Brieze releases the blade as a quick shock of energy flashes through his arm. Without another word, he falls back into the shadows.
Philos curses under his breath while he stands. "Brieze? What are you doing?" He vanishes as their cover is blown.
Sherra draws Dolgufa as she feels the hand vanish, and turns to the shadows, slicing her demon sword madly and repeatedly through it. The Dynast Warrior looks to the Lord running to her.
"Hellmaster!" She grins as she calls out to the child. "Your pathetic underlings revealed you to me as I will reveal you to the city you hide in!"
Laughing Sherra draws out the dagger as evidence to her threat.
There it is!
Phibrizo spots the dagger handed down by the royal family to the current leader of Saillune.
Sherra hides the dagger again before she leaps into the air and vanishes, narrowly avoiding an attack from the boy.
Philos appears just outside of the smoke from the attack seconds before Brieze and Phibrizo appear next to him.
"My Lord," the priest speaks softly. "You know that we've been exposed now."
"I'm aware of that, Brieze." Phibrizo says as he watches the sky intently. "That's why we need to find her... Now."
Sherra appears high in the sky. She grins as she sees Phibrizo find her. Quickly she fires another attack before vanishing again.
This is how you're going to play, huh?
Phibrizo looks to Philos then vanishes.
"You know what to do, general."
Philos grins, not watching as the priest disappears alongside with his Lord. He just watches Sherra silently.
There are very few occasions when the Hellmaster refers to Philos as "general". Hearing that from his Lord, meant that it was time for him to get serious against this girl. He vanishes, then reappears where he feels her existence, rather than seeing it. Drawing out a spear of dark energy as he reforms into the physical world.
Sherra lifts up Dolgufa, feeling the presence of Brieze behind her and using the Mazoku that assists her to deter the attack from the other General. She then backs away from him, while vanishing again.
By now, the city knows that we're here. Grausherra will not like this.
She then reappears, hands held out in front of her, with the longsword hovering between them, a dark energy flowing around her, Dulgofa surrendering it over to her.
Philos sees this as a chance to attack her, since she's distracted, and swings the spear out towards her, the bolt of energy flying in the warrior's direction, only to be stopped by a barrier around her.
The attack is reflected and flies into a nearby building, resulting in a large explosion. The people in the streets have now stopped their actions and turned their attention to the two, fighting Mazoku.
"What's going on?!"
"It's the war! I just know it!"
"It's not just a tale! The gods are against us!"
Sherra hears the voices down below her and Philos. She opens her eyes to look down at them, then back up at the Hellmaster's general before her.
"Shall we break off here? Our publicity at this time is crucial, and I know several people who would not appreciate the battle to take place in this sort of manor. Ruby Eye-sama himself included."
Philos looks at the crowd as well, then grins. "Let's move this to more suitable ground." He looks up, though, without enough time to dodge the attack from the blade of the longsword. He suddenly buckles over and glares up at the girl.
Sherra laughs, her grin showing her enjoyment of the fear of the humans, as well as the enjoyment of seeing the general in pain. "Never turn your eyes from an opponent! You should've been taught better!"
"You bitch! Don't you understand that what Phibrizo-sama has planned will take you and your pathetic lord down like a bunch of flies?"
"Nope." The Dynast's general speaks shortly. "Mainly because it won't. I can't let you."
With a curse under his breath, Philos suddenly vanishes in a blast of black energy. Sherra looks back at the growing crowd.
Feh... Pathetic mortals...
She takes her leave as well, having other plans to take care of.
"Here ye! Here ye! All arise for the King, Aloran el de Saillune!"
The people rise to respect their ruler, while the young, robed girl with dark hair stands before them, holding the dagger in her hands.
The king enters the great hall, and walks to the girl silently.
"You say you retrieved the dagger from the thief who stole it?"
"Yes, your majesty." She lowers her head, hiding her eyes underneath her bangs.
"How can I trust you to be truthful?"
"Because, the thief would not have returned the dagger, would he? Instead, he'd use it to try to gain fame and glory across the lands, to get things to go his way. Is my point being understood?"
The King stands there, thinking over her words.
He turns to make a speech out to his people, before looking to the child once again.
"Then may I ask your name?"
"Do names have such significance in your lives?"
"It's best to give someone something to be called by. What may we call you?"
"Just call me Sherra." She grins while looking up at him.
Solara watches this from off to the side, not liking the feeling she's getting from the stranger who calls herself Sherra. In fact, this sensation really exists, and it is making her feel sick to the stomach. Suiryuuoh-sama should be alerted to the possibility of a spy. She turns on her heel, her blond hair flowing around her face while she walks through the Saillune palace, her light blue robes moving around her with each step.
