Valterria stretched out his muscles.
"Mom, I'm done." Val called to his adopted mother.
"Already?" Firia asked surprised as she looked at the kiln Val had built for her.
"Yes and fixed all the leaks in the roof, painted the outside...." Val said with frustration in his voice. "No what is your game?"
"Game, whatever gave you an idea like that?" Firia asked nervous.
"Hello?" Firia whirled around and saw Xellos floating there.
"Who's he?" Valterria asked curious. The Mazuko priest/general blinked when he looked at the beautiful man standing before him.
Shabrinigdo-sama, he looks just like Valgarv. Xellos thought shocked as he looked at what could have been the mirror image of Valgarv minus the scars. Firia was silently cursing, she had been hoping to keep Val and Xellos apart...
"Firia-chan I am hurt." Xellos said with feigned hurt. Firia snarled and was about to re-introduce his face to her mace when Val grabbed her wrist.
"Mother it's not nice to hit people." Val murmured never taking his eyes off of the violet haired man.
"I'll Firia-chan you ass back to Wolf Pack Island Namagomi!!!" Firia ground out.
"Mother contain yourself!" Valterria cried fighting against the mace wielding blond Dragon.
"Firia calm down it was a joke." Xellos said with uncharacteristic seriousness. "Are you ready to go to Lina-san and Zel-kun's wedding [1]?" Xellos asked and the Dragon Maiden calmed slightly.
"And you are?" Val asked?
"Xellos Metallium." Xellos murmured with a bow of his head. Val frowned.
"Valgarv hated your guts." Val whispered.
"We shared a kind of love/hate relationship." Xellos admitted. "Do you hate me as well?" a strange note was in Xellos' voice.
I said I would never touch you again Valgarv... I said nothing about your reincarnation. Xellos silently laughed.
"I don't know you, so how can I hate you?" Val asked.
"Never stopped Firia." Xellos said conversationally managing to ignore the hissing and spitting blond hellcat standing between him and Valterria.
"I don't need to know you Namagomi! Murderer of my race!" Xellos looked down at Firia with opened eyes and she shivered.
"And your race killed Val-kun's race, so you are no better then I."
"Liar! I never killed a singled Ancient Dragon." Firia growled.
"Let's just getting going?" Xellos grabbed Firia and phazed to the wedding, the sooner this was over with the sooner he could get lost for the next millennia or so.
After the wedding whiled everyone was celebrating, Xellos slipped off and phazed to the small shop that Firia and Valterria ran. Xellos laughed coldly as he appeared inside the house, now where was that Dragon. Xellos heard something move about upstairs and silently crept up the stairs. He found Valterria laying in his bed reading by the light of a candle. Xellos stood in the doorway watching the aqua haired man turn a page in his book and absently rub at his shoulder. Val's was naked from the waist up and Xellos couldn't tell what his skin tone was by the light of the candle.
I wonder if it is the same color and softness of Valgarv's? Xellos ideally wondered. Valterria suddenly sensed Xellos presence.
"Is a book worth that much?" Xellos asked cheerfully.
"Worth what?"
"Your life, if I had been an assassin you would be dead." Xellos said as he stepped forward. Valterria set down his book.
"Xellos what are you doing here?"
"I came with a proposition for you." Xellos sat down on the edge of Val's bed and slowly drew off his gloves.
"What kind of proposition?" Valterria asked.
"One of mutual giving, and pleasure." Xellos murmured.
"What?" Vaterria asked slightly unnerved especially by the hungry, predatory look he saw in Xellos violet eyes.
"It's actually very simple." Xellos murmured as he leaned forward and he was nearly nose to nose with the Dragon. Xellos reveled in the fear he felt from the Dragon, and the anger. But mostly fear, and a hunger matching his own. "I want you Val-kun." Xellos murmured as he kissed the startled Dragon.
What is he doing?! Val thought silently as Xellos kissed him passionately. Val shivered. Che, I am not supposed to like this. Val growled. Xellos smiled darkly.
"Now do you understand?" Xellos watched as Valterria's eyes fluttered opened.
"Yes." Val murmured as he looked brooding at Xellos.
You can't fool me, I sense your lust Little Dragon. Xellos thought with a triumphant grin. You may not be Mazuko anymore, but the Valgarv in you still remembers and he aches, just as I have.
"You sure are a confidant bastard aren't you? So certain the little country hick will just play into your hands?" Xellos blinked. "Well you are wrong, I am not going to fall right into bed with you." Val growled. Xellos grinned as he pressed his hands against Valterria's shoulders.
"Well then I will have to change your mind." Xellos murmured as he kissed Val again, this time softly kneading Val's stiffened muscles.
"That hurts." Val growled.
"So what's a little pain. It adds spice to the pleasure." Xellos laughed as he scrapped his teeth across Valterria's jugular and he laughed as the sudden burst of fear that ran through the Ancient Dragon. "Relax, I won't hurt you...much." Xellos whispered his voice slightly husky. Xellos looked at Valterria and he noticed that he had the oddest look of shock on his face and a faraway look in his eyes.
"Xellos." Valterria looked up at him with eyes that burned with both lust and a sad madness.
So Valgarv has been fully awakened. Xellos mused silently. And poor Valterria is being over-whelmed by Valgarv....how deliciously ironic. Xellos thought smiling his dark and evil Mazuko smile Xellos laughed when Val suddenly rolled over and pinned him to the bed.
"Xellos." The madness and pain in Val's golden eyes seemed to thicken until Xellos saw nothing on the Dragon left. Just the long dead memories of the past. "Xellos you came back." Valterria/Valgarv whispered hoarsely as he touched Xellos' face softly as if believing he was a ghost and would disappear. "Xellos. Damn you why did you pull a stunt like that?"
"Because you betrayed me, and I probably should have killed you then." Xellos growled as he brutally kissed Val shutting him up. In the midst of their lovemaking, Xellos distantly her Val cry that he loved him.
Xellos smiled, now came the fun part.
"Wake up Val-kun." Xellos whispered as he looked at the beautiful Dragon's pale face. Valterria looked up at Xellos with now clear eyes. Xellos grinned and kissed him. "Ne Val-kun, what would ya say if I told you I loved you?" Xellos asked playfully his eyes turned up, his secrets keep.
"Xellos." Val sighed. "That wasn't me before."
"You don't love me?" Xellos asked as he fidgeted with his cloak he had laid over them.
"No, I barely know you." Valterria whispered. Xellos laughed suddenly. The laughed terrified Valterria, is was dark and evil, so evil.
"I was hoping you would say that." Xellos said with a mad smiled as he ruthlessly and viciously stabbed Valterria through the heart. "It makes this so much more fun." Xellos laughed, half-mad with bloodlust as he kissed Val once last time, licked up the blood that trickled down his chin with relish. Once the light had faded from Valterria's eyes and his chest rose no more, Xellos murmured the words that would resurrect Val as a Mazuko and then he laughed, and laughed. Xellos was very happy, and he snuggled next to the newly made Mazuko and went to sleep.
Firia opened the door to her shop and stared in shock at the sight before her eyes. She saw Xellos and Valterria kissing passionately.
"Namagomi!!" Firia screamed as she rushed forward. Val and Xellos looked at her, their head cocked to the side. Firia raised her mace ready to smash Xellos' grinning face when Valterria grabbed her wrist.
"Don't do that." Val said in a dead flat voice. Firia stared into Valterria's eyes, his cold, emotionless eyes and noticed the change in the pupils.
"No...." Firia cried out as she felt a sharp searing pain in her midsection and started down shocked to see a dagger embedded in her stomach. Firia felt her heart shatter into a million pieces and thrown to the four winds when she noticed who wielded the dagger. "Val...." Firia whispered and screamed as she felt the dagger move and then was removed and re-embedded in her heart."
"No Val-kun, you didn't enjoy her pain long enough." Firia felt someone catch her as she fell backwards and the last thing she saw before was Xellos' laughing violet eyes, then darkness.
"I'm home!" Xellos said cheerfully as he walked into his domain. Two heads, one blond, one aqua colored turned towards him. Xellos kissed both Firia and Val passionately "It's so nice to have such a loving family." Xellos murmured as he hugged his 'family' Xellos laughed, no longer alone.
