Zel and Lina, with the help of Garv and Zellas made it back to came.
"Lina!" Gourry shouted as he hugged the petite sorceress.
"Gourry let go!" Lina growled. "We're fine." Rezo and Amelia walked out of a tent hand in hand.
"Zelgadis." Rezo whispered as he embraced his grandson. "I am relived that you are alright." Rezo grinned slyly as he saw how close Lina and Zel were standing. "And..."
"It's about bloody time you two got together!" Amelia said bluntly; Lina and Zel sweatdroped.
"Amelia." Rezo shook his head exasperated.
"And what's with you and Amelia, Rezo?" Lina asked archly.
"Um well..." Lina smirked.
Valgarv phazed strait to his lair.
"Firia!" he shouted.
"Val?" Firia cried as she ran from the bedroom. "You're okay!" Firia threw herself into Val's arms. "You're okay." She whispered against his chest. Valgarv hugged Firia fiercely and lightly kissed the top of her hair. "Baka na if you ever do this to me again I'll kill you myself!" Firia growled as she angrily wiped at tears of relief and anger.
"I'm sorry Firia-chan." Val whispered as he looked down at her.
"Yes because next time I am coming!"
"What!?" Val's shout echoed through the bow cannon.
Zellas had just finished burying Xellos when Garv phazed in next to her. Zellas looked up at the red haired Mazuko.
"I know we don't bury our dead, but I thought he... he deserved it." Zellas sobbed. Garv's angular rough face showed his sorrow.
"Shhh Zellas." he whispered as he hugged her.
"I've lost everyone. Everyone I ever cared for." Zellas whispered and for once she didn't flinch when someone touch her.
I feel safe and warm hugging Garv. The random though ran through Zellas' head.
"What you don't care about me?" Garv asked with a lopsided grin.
"Yes, of course I care about you."
"Well there you go. There are still people you care about still alive. You care for Lina-san don't you?"
"Won't you let me be depressed Garv?" Zellas asked with a slight smile.
"Nope. And there are people who care for you too Zellas. Don't give up hope yet. You might find another dashing devilishly handsome guy who will sweep you off your feet."
"You think so?" Zellas asked.
"I know so, after all Zellas, you got eternity to find him. And take it from me eternity is a long time to be alone." Zellas heard a odd note in Garv's voice.
"Don't you love someone?" Garv hesitated and sorrow flashed in his eyes.
"Yes and someday I am going to tell her how I feel." [1]
"I'll help, just tell me who she is and I will get you two together."
"Umm well...." Garv stuttered.
"Ne Gourry I got something for you." Lina murmured as she held out the Hikari no Ken. "It's rightfully yours." Gourry nodded as he looked at the two swords.
"They are the same yet not the same." Gourry murmured as he laid the swords both drawn and burning on top of each other. The two swords hummed and seemed to blur together.
"Wow." Lina whispered as she leaned back against Zel.
"Yeah, but I think the Hikari no Ken is complete now." Gourry murmured. Slyphial ran in.
"I have great new! Naga just woke up." [2] Gourry grinned and sheathed his sword.
"So what do we do now?" he asked.
"The Mazuko aren't defeated yet, there are still three Dark Lords under Shabrinigdo out there." Rezo murmured softly.
"So the fight isn't ever yet." Zelgadis whispered.
"No it's not. It's just started." Lina grinned.
"Why are you so happy?" Zel asked.
"Well I would say today has been fairly good, and it isn't even over with." Zel didn't like the grin on Lina's face one little. Lina chuckled and kissed Zel passionately. "Okay now it's perfect." Zel blushed.
Somewhere in the Sea of Chaos, a woman with long blond hair laughed.
"It is hardly over my child, hardly indeed." The Lord of Nightmares stared down at the violet haired man who genuflected himself before her. L-sama smiled. "I have another mission so you Xellos. Not this world, but another." The spirit raised his eyes and looked at L-sama.
"As you wish my master." Xellos grinned. It looked like he got to have some more fun after all.
