Weston watched the couple walk into the Hotel Royal. He had seen a lot of people come through this hotel, but these two were quite different. Well, at least the woman was different from what he'd seen. And he'd seen a lot of women. He was still surprised he had never gotten fired for all his peeking.
He took a quick look at the man, coming to the conclusion that this guy seemed to be a wimp. How had he ended up with a gorgeous babe in his arms was beyond his imagination. He never could understand why all the beautiful woman went for weaklings.
He watched the man walk to the front counter and talk to the clerk. After, a short conversation, Weston curiously followed, as the clerk led the couple into the central courtyard and up the steps to one of the more expensive suites that overlooked the courtyard.
Ohhh, the guy was rich. That was why the bi#$@ stayed with him. Weston hated rich people. They thought they could buy anything, even women. He would love to prove them wrong.
He watched the man walk into the suite and then out, without the woman. The fellow then stopped to talk with the clerk, give him some instructions, and hand him a large amount of gold. He then watched as the man left the building.
Weston couldn't believe it. This man was just leaving that gorgeous babe at the hotel alone and asleep. This was too much to resist.
Weston quietly stole himself up to the suite, where he picked the lock and let himself in.
He stood in the dark for a while, letting his eyes adjust. He then ventured to the bedroom and lit a candle. He then turned around and saw her lying on the bed. Man, she was hot. He walked up and gently touched her cheek, ready to bolt if she woke up. But she didn't, so he tried a light slap on the cheek and all she did was groan in her sleep and pull away.
Weston didn't know much about magic, but he guessed she was under a sleep spell. He found himself getting bolder as he stroked her cheek. Man, her skin was smooth, like finely carved marble, except with a warmth and a strange pliancy that he couldn't explain.
He slowly removed the blanket to reveal her naked body. He smiled as he stroked a breast and she groaned and pulled away in her sleep. He kicked off his shoes and slowly lowered himself on the bed, straddling her hips. He leaned forward and experimentally kissed her. Her lips were strangely warm and soft, and what started as an experimental kiss turned into a long demanding kiss, which she attempted to turn away from.
He slowly moved himself to the foot of the bed, so he was kneeling between her spread legs. He grabbed her thighs yanking her towards him. She started to whimper in her sleep and made some feeble attempts to pull away, but he pinned her down as he yanked off his belt, and started to untie his pa.........,
He felt something strike him in the back. He stared in shock as he saw blood erupt across the bed. He looked down and saw the bloody tip of a staff coming out of his chest.
Weston panicked. He tried to scream, but only blood came flying out of his open lips. He was lifted off the bed and flung off the staff and into the wall. He landed, facing his attacker, and felt terror seep into every pore of his body.
He stared at the dark apparition in front of him. Dark power swirled around it and the bloodied staff in it's hand. He could see the creatures eyes through the swirling mass. There was unrestrained rage in those violet eyes; those slitted eyes; those Mozukan eyes.
"Oh, L-sama", was all he managed to gasp as the Mozuku advanced on him.
"You have no right to call HER name", hissed a soft voice, "after you tried to take that which is MINE!!!"
He watched the head of the staff rise and could only mentally scream in terror as the staff came down and crushed his skull.
Xelloss was infuriated. He had left to do some last duties for his Mistress, and he had paid the clerk extra, with instructions that Gadiss was to be kept safe. And not only were those instructions seemingly ignored, she had been attacked by the hotel's own employee.
Xelloss, tore open the door to the balcony, ripping the door off it's hinges. He then grabbed the filthy corpse, ignoring the blood and brain matter and tossed it over the balcony and into the central courtyard. He heard the satisfying thump of the body hitting the ground and then the screams of panic that followed.
He scooped Gadiss up, wrapped her in the sheets and flew out the door and over the balcony to float over the courtyard. He watched in angry delight, as his presence sent terror through the already panicked patrons. He smiled. He must look very terrifying, floating above the ground, wrapped in his black energy, and holding a woman in blood soaked sheets.
He didn't raise his voice, but somehow it boomed through the hotel. The clerk appeared at the door to the courtyard, staring in terror and shock Xelloss leveled his slitted-eyes on the clerk, sending shivers up the man's spine.
"I told YOU to make sure she was safe, while I was gone. And you couldn't even keep her safe from one of your own!!!"
Xelloss paused, and closed his eyes to calm himself. He smiled sweetly, "Oh well, maybe I should let you off, because I didn't let you know the serious consequences of failing me."
The clerk nodded eagerly in agreement, "Oh, thank you, that would me most fair of you."
Xelloss tilted his head to the side as if thinking, "You know what, I don't care about FAIR right now" and he turned his hate filled eyes on the clerk.
"You are out of business, as of now."
Suddenly, the black energy that had been wrapped around Xelloss expanded and exploded, sending a wave of energy that incinerated all organic material in the building and sent the building up in a great fireball.
Xelloss hovered in the air with a shield wrapped around him and his precious cargo. The flames from the burning remains wrapped around the shield bubble, as the still falling debris bounced off it.
He stared calmly into the inferno, satisfied by the destruction around him. He looked down at Gadiss, pleased to see, that somehow she had calmed down since he'd picked her up and had stayed that way through the whole ordeal.
He smiled, "Yes, my love, you are safe with me. I won't let any harm come to you. However," Xelloss looked around humorously," I think we're going to have to find another hotel."
He chuckled, kissed her forehead and phased out.
