Part 1

Our solar system shifts and changes, and years from now, three planets come into eclipse forming a dark portal allowing a dark evil to come to our world.

General Staedart sat there in his battle ship as he watched the dark ball of energy move slowly to Earth.

"General, President Phillonel Seyruun is on the line."

"Yes, President."

"General, have you discovered yet what is moving towards our world?"

"No, but I suggest that we shoot first and ask questions later."

"Sumimasen!" came a high female voice.

President Seyruun turned to the blond priestess, who was slowly walking towards him.

"Who might I ask are you, young lady?" asked the president.

"I'm Fillia Ul Copt and I beg you not to attack. This is a great evil that will only get stronger with an attack."

"My lady, although I'm against violence, you're confirmation of it's evil intents call for action," turning away from the priestess, "General, defend the citizens of this Federation."

"Yes sir. OPEN FIRE!"

Torpedoes rocketed towards the dark sphere only to be absorbed. General Staedart could only stare in shock and horror as the sphere double in size and outstretched to engulf him and his ship.

Fillia calmly placed the ancient book in front of the President, her attitude screaming "I told you so."

"This is an evil creature, whose only purpose is to destroy life. However, placing four of these elemental stones around a fifth element, a Supreme Being, which can create The Light of Creation, can stop it. This light can bring life to the most remote part of the solar system, and therefore destroy this creature of anti-life. A Mondoshawan ship should be bringing the stones and the fifth element."

"President," Major Zangulus interrupted, bowing. "I hate to inform you, but a Mondoshawan ship was attacked and destroyed as it came into Federation Space."

"What?" Fillia shrieked. "No, no, how can this be? How could you let this happen?" she screamed as she launched herself at Zangulus.

"Calm down," ordered the Major. "They were attacked by two unregistered fighters that snake in after them."

Fillia shrank into her chair, her assistant Jeffrey reaching out to comfort her. "It's all over. We're done for."

"Now, that's no way to talk, my lady," bellowed the President. "Why don't you go home and the government will take it from here."

"Come Fillia-sama, there is nothing we can do here," insisted Jeffrey. "We can go home and puzzle out this and with our greatness, we should be able to come up with a plan to conquer this incredible evil."

Fillia rolled her eyes at her assistant's naivete, but allowed herself to be drug off.

The clock alarm went off and quickly went out as a fist came slamming down on it.

"S#$%, I'm awake, d#$% it."

"Meow!"

A black cat bounded onto his lap looking up at him expectedly. He ran his hands through his aquamarine hair, as his gold eyes stared at the cat a moment.

"Let me guess. You're hungry. Is that it, Amelia?"

"Meow!"

"O.K., O.K."

Val pulled himself out of the bed, as the bed made itself, and pulled out some food for the cat and for himself.

"Well, I got to get to #$@ work. You be good," as he patted the cat.

"MEOW!"

"Oh, I'm sorry." Val pivoted around from the door and turned on the TV

"Hello, this is Xelloss," blared the violet haired, violet-eyed DJ, "and tonight I will be announcing the winner of the fabulously green free trip to Fhlaston Paradise."

Val sighed as he left, "Amelia, don't let it rot your brain."

"You call this a survivor," was all Zangulus could say as he stared at the metal gauntlet that held the only remains from the Mondoshawan ship.

Diol smiled, delighted and bouncing like a kid. "Yes, it had several living cells, which is all I need."

"Are you sure this will work?" Zangulus asked, as he watched technicians remove the glove and put it in the chamber.

"Oh, it should work. The cells are absolutely perfect, much more perfect than yours or mine. Oh, I can't wait to see it." He turned from Zangulus and barked at his assistants, "Begin reconstruction."

Zangulus watched in amazement as the machine whirled into action. Slowly forming pieces from its organic material and jick-saw puzzling it together to form a skeletal frame that started from the remaining hand and worked out.

"O.K., start tissue regeneration."

A machine ran along the skeleton replacing the lost flesh leaving a skinless body.

"Start ultraviolet bombardment."

A metal screen closed over the chamber blocking it from view. Diol explained, "We bombard the body with ultraviolet light, forcing the body to defend itself, by forming skin."

Zangulus snorted, "Great!"

"Diol, the ultraviolet process is taking longer than usual."

"Just give it the time it needs."

"Yes sir, it done now."

"Well, let's remove the screen."

They all stared as the screen was moved and the body was revealed. The lights of the lab reflected off the blue skin that covered his long, leanly muscled body. His pale violet hair fell gracefully around his almost femininely beautiful face.

"What did I tell you, perfect." Diol smiled in delight.

An electric pad was sent over the chamber and flashed, letting out an electrical field to start the heart.

His eyes snapped open as he gasped. For an instant, panic seized him. The last thing he remembered was the ship going down and knowing that he was going to die.

Zangulus stared as this blue apparition searched for a way out of the chamber in a seeming panic. He blinked as the creature began to talk in a seeming gibberish.

He walked up to the chamber, catching the being's undivided attention.

"Hi," Zangulus said, swinging the key to the chamber enticingly, "if you want out you better learn to speak.

He watched as the being lowered its gaze to meet his. For a moment, Zangulus was lost in the depths of those perfect blue eyes, which stared at him intently. He felt goosebumps rise on his skin as he could feel and hear the rumble that reverberated from the apparition's throat. He almost didn't notice when a blue arm smashed through the glass and grabbed him and knocked him out to grab the key.

The creature fumbled for the key for a moment, eventually opening the chamber and hid behind the chamber as security personal came rushing in. He wanted out, that's all he cared about, so he took a flying leap through the wall.

The complex went into a state of emergency. Security personal running through corridors and into the air shafts, trying to get him back, but only succeeding in chasing him farther away.

They sent out flying units, and found that he'd gone all the way out to the ledge outside the building. He shrank away from the lights, not knowing what they were.

"Sir, please stay put as we come to get you. You are under arrest, do not move."

He stood there, lights blaring in his eyes, noises erupting into his sensitive ears from the traffic of passing vehicles, and the only thing he could think of, was that he couldn't let them get him. He had to get to the priestess. No one else could be trusted. Not in this strange place. So again, with his mission in mind, he did the impossible. He leapt from the building.

He watched as flying units went careening by. He even saw the yellow flying unit just before he hit it and went through the roof.

"F#$%, what the f#$%," Val screamed, as he tried to get his cab under control.

"You have had an accident," stated the monotone computer, "you now have only one point on your license."

"F#$$ing sh#$, I know that!"

He turned toward the back where a huge hole was torn in his roof. "Hello, is anyone there? Did someone survive?"

He hadn't expected a response, so was startled when a blue face peaked over the back of his seat to stare at him. An angel had fallen from heaven.

He blinked, "Are you O.K.?"

The angel smiled shyly and started to ramble on about something, that Val couldn't make sense of.

"Boom, oh, I understand boom," he exclaimed clasping the only thing he could understand."

The angel shook his head, "badda boom."

"Yeah," Val smiled, "Big badda boom. You are so lucky to be alive."

A siren went off. "Citizen," a loudspeaker from a police unit blasted, "you have an unauthorized occupant. Please, cooperate while we arrest him."

Val sighed; it just couldn't be as perfect as he thought it could. "I guess this is your ride."

He watched as the angel pushed himself into the farthest corner of the cab, away from the door, as the police opened his door and attached a cable to his cab.

The angel turned to him. "Please... help."

Val couldn't believe it. He hadn't known him long and he felt his heart breaking as his angel's beautiful low voice begged. Val closed his eyes.

"I'm sorry, I can't."

"Please... help."

Val looked up into the mirror, to see those blue eyes staring at him, tears brimming in the depths of the most perfect eyes he'd ever seen.

"Oh, sh#$, I'm going to regret this later," he muttered to himself as he started the engine and started off, dragging the cable behind and yanking the pulley off the police vehicle.

He quickly found himself in the middle of a chase scene, where he was avoiding trains, vehicles, and bullets.

"O.K., that's enough," he declared, as he buckled himself into a harness and started to dive through the mass of traffic to the fog below. He could hear the angel yelling as he dove down like a bird of prey on a victim, the angel being knocked around in back by the swerving. He just prayed and continued.

Val sat quietly in his cab, watching the police go by, unable to see the cab, because of the thick fog. He turned around to look at his passenger.

"Are you O.K.?"

When the angel didn't move Val got out of his harness and moved into the back to look at the angel.

He lifted the semi-conscious body and looked into the partially opened blue eyes, he smiled as he stroked the smooth skin.

"Priestess," came the weak request.

"You don't need a priestess."

"No, Fillia Ul Copt... priestess." Then his blue eyes shut as he passed out.

Fillia opened the door sullenly. The world was going to end. Why be happy? She looked at the aquamarine haired man, carrying a very beautiful blue-skinned man.

"Weddings are on the floor below," she stated blankly and walked back in, just to have the door kicked opened.

"Hey, he said he needed to get to a Fillia Ul Copt, a priestess. The phone book said she lived here."

Fillia stared at him in disbelief. "I'm Ul Copt, but I don't know him."

Val rolled his eyes, "Well, he asked for you. He's got this tattoo on his arm."

"TATTOO!" Fillia nearly pounced on the men, grabbing the arm. She squealed, "Oh, the fifth element, the fifth element." She ran off in delight, just to quickly run back in delighted excitement. "Oh, put him down on the sofa, and wake him up gently." She then ran off again.

Val stared at her, completely baffled, but angel was getting heavy, and so he laid him down.

O.K. He was supposed to wake him up... gently. How? He stared down at the perfect face, noticing the beautifully shaped lips.

"I wonder," he thought, as he leaned down to kiss those lips. He had only kissed him for a few seconds, when he felt a gun to his head.

"You're right, that was a bad idea, a f#$%ing, bad idea." As he slowly stood up with angel pointing the gun at him.

"ecto gamat!" angel declared, pointing the gun in Val's face angrily.

"O.K, that wasn't very smart of me. But, do you remember me. The one who saved you. My names Val. Remember me."

"Val?" the angel repeated.

Val smiled slightly, "Yeah, I'm Val and you are?"

The angel glared at him for a moment in confusion. Val tried to keep from frowning. This was no time for his insecurities. But, he couldn't help think that the angel was pondering whether he should grace a little nobody like himself with his name. "I probably don't deserve to know the name of someone so perfect, but I have to try" he thought.

"Zelgadiss."

Val smiled, delighted. "Zelgadiss... perfect."

He watched as Zelgadiss smiled slightly and a slight blush tinted his cheeks. Val smiled uncontrollably at the slight sign of acceptance.

Suddenly, Fillia came running in the room. Zelgadiss switched the gun over to her, until he noticed she was in the priestess robes for the elements. He suddenly smiled, relieved to have gotten to his first objective.

Fillia quickly turned to Val, who was still staring at Zelgadiss. "Who are you please? Oh, never mind. It was very kind of you to get the Supreme Being here," as she quickly pushed Val to the door, "but he needs his rest now, so you'll have to leave. Thank you, again."

She went to close the door, but Val stopped it.

"Excuse me, but what does "ecto gamat" mean?"

Fillia paused, thinking for a moment. "It means, 'never without my permission'."

"S#$%, that's what I though," as the door slammed behind him. He sighed, "I shouldn't have kissed him."
