In the last part Relm had been the one who was kidnapped by Story. Now it's Carbunkle whose been kidnapped! For what reason? (Dramatic pause) Ransom! Now let us continue...
"Anyone want to go out for pizza?" Relm looks around at the group.
"But Miss Relm! Shouldn't we go and save Mister Carbunkle? Who knows what evil and heinous things Story could be doing to him!" Amelia over dramatically states.
"Oh I am Amelia, I am. Heh heh..." Relm evilly chuckles.
"Hey Relm, Carbunkle told me to give you this recording just incase he was ever crushed by an anvil and kidnapped by Story." Silas pulls out a videotape and hands it Relm.
Relm regards the tape suspiciously and puts in into the VCR.
"And where the hell did that come from?!" Zelgadis exclaims referring to the VCR that had seemed to pop up out of nowhere.
Relm points to an unidentifiable person standing to the right of them.
"But don't we need a TV?"
Relm goes back to the unidentifiable person and guy hands her a thirty-seven inch TV that was in his jacket.
With the TV and VCR all set up Relm pushes play and the tape starts to play. Carbunkle appears on the screen and he's glaring straight at Relm. Relm moves to the left, Carbunkle glares to the left. Relm moves to the right, Carbunkle glares to the right. Relm moves all around and Carbunkle still follows her with his glare.
Everyone sweatdrops.
"Hey this is fun!" Relm moves around again and while following Relm with his glare Carbunkle manages to smash himself into the camera. They hear a long string of cursing before the picture goes black.
Everyone glares at Relm whose laughing her ass off.
Relm stops laughing. "What you mean you actually wanted to hear what he was going to say?"
Everyone nods.
"Why in god's name would you want to do something like that?!"
Death puts his hand up. "I didn't want hear him talk. He insults me, he's mean."
"Gee this hit fic seems to really be bashing Carbunkle." Jinny comments matter-of-factly.
"Nah could be worse, Blank could be here to write it with me."
"Where is she?"
"Oh she's out on a trip." (Relm: Oh before I forget, HI BLANK!!! Hope you're having fun on your trip!)
"Can we get back to the matter at hand please?!" An ominous voice speaks from some unknown location.
"Eh? Whose said that?"
Everyone looks around in confusion.
Story comes out of nowhere. "I said it! Now we please get back to about me kidnapping Carbunkle?!"
"Okay where you keeping him?"
"Over in the building next door -- HEY!"
"Can we have him back now?"
"No!"
"Okay everyone let's go this is a lost cause."
Everyone glares at Relm.
"Why are you looking at me like that for?! I tried! Story doesn't want to give him back!"
"How about we just take Carbunkle by force?" Lina suggested.
"Force? What can Story do to us? We could just walk right in and take him." Death grins.
Story glares at Death. (Relm: Okay that sentence just sounds weird. But man we're doing a lot of glaring in this hit fic.) "Continue this line of insults and I might kidnap you too!"
"Ooooh I'm scared!"
"Grr...! You should be!"
This goes on for a little while.
"You know I dare say this is the most lines Death has ever had in one of these hit fics." Zelgadis comments to Relm.
Relm grins.
"Hey since Death has Story occupied why don't we go and save Carbunkle right now?"
Everyone minus Relm and Death [Remember Death's arguing with Story right now] nods in agreement.
They did a vote they all went over to next door to go get Carbunkle.
The place next door turned out to be an empty storage room. And inside the room was a chair that looked like it had a person tied to it but instead a little stuffed Carbunkle doll with a sash on it that says director on it was sitting in the chair. [Shameless Plug ~ Read Slayers, Huh? What?! to get that joke.]
"Hey where is Carbunkle?"
They look to the ground and there's a note on the floor.
Relm picks it up and reads it over.
[I have kidnapped Carbunkle. If you want him back you must return my] - (The rest of the message is unreadable from this point on due to ink running from the paper being wet.)
Relm blinks a few times and then looks down at the bottom of the note to see that there is a signature on it but the paper had gotten wet at the bottom also so now it was unreadable. "Well everyone, it looks like not only has Carbunkle been kidnapped by Story, but it appears that someone has kidnapped him from Story."
