"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" [continuation of Carbunkle's screaming the previous fic. Gee he's been screaming a long time eh?]
All the Storys heads sharply turned towards the hysterically screaming Carbunkle. And for no good reason at all this cause a Story stampede! Run, run for your lives!
Carbunkle and Ruby spring into action and climb what they think to be a tree but when they reached the top they realized --
"Hey Carbunkle this is broccoli!"
Oh and Topaz? Trampled.
After a long wait perching on the broccoli tree Carbunkle and Ruby were able to climb down. The Story herd had trampled off to places unknown. [or at least out of camera range.]
"Ungggggggg...."
"Well that was interesting." Ruby commented walking right over Topaz's squished body.
The camera pans over to Carbunkle who is slack jawed and bug eyed. "That was really freaky."
"Um help. Can't breathe, Ruby standing on head." Topaz complained muffledly through the scrambled egg ground.
Ruby chooses to ignore that comment and didn't move from where she stood.
[cue jaws music]
Carbunkle looks around in confusion. "Huh? What?! Where's that music coming from?!"
"Shruuuuuks!" Topaz yelled out.
"What's a shruck?" Ruby asks scratching her head in confusion.
"I think he means shark." Carbunkle said while pointing at the three shark fins circling Ruby and Topaz in a jaws like manor.
"How are they swimming through the eggs? Isn't the mashed potatoes and gravy considered water here?"
"This is Gourry's dream, did you expect it to make sense?" Carbunkle retorted dryly.
One of the sharks went attack when they noticed something very strange. These weren't no ordinary sharks, they were the evil yummy gummi sharks!
Topaz at this moment lifts his head from the ground knocking Ruby away and opened his mouth wide.
Take a guess on what happens next. Did you guess? Come on did you? I'm waiting..."
"I can't believe you ate the whole thing..."
"So what?!"
"But you ate the whole thing!"
Confused? Topaz ate the shark. The other two had swam away in fright.
Suddenly out of no where the Story stampede came back and trampled over Topaz... again.
"Heeeeeeelllllo?" Relm yelled out. But still only her echo answered. "If this is Xellos' dream why does it seem to lack just about everything? It's not a very interesting dream if you ask me."
Floppy nodded excitedly in agreement. Not that he could understand what she was saying, he was nodding excitedly to everything she said.
Relm and Floppy didn't hear nor notice the shadowy figure stalking them from behind.
