It had been utter mayhem. A hideously large group of people of only seven were a little bit familiar with the area only because they had been the first to arrive. And more were arriving.
Lina had completely lost her patience, her eyes narrow as she glared at the men in front of her. "Well, you can either come now, or stumble over us later. And we will be prepared to meet you."
"I will come with you." The voice is rumbly, and surprising, as she had not expected that one to speak. But the surprise is easily managed, as she has been with Zelgadis a long time, and had learned to not judge by appearances.
"Thanks! I'm Lina Inverse."
"You're welcome. I am Blanka."
Zel was getting a headache. "Look, why not?"
"You might very well be a trap." The brown-haired man snapped, glaring at Zel in a rather hostile manner. The redhead in black and white shouldered his way to the front of the group. "I'll go. Anything is better than listening to him whine."
"Fine. Those of you who want to come, follow along behind. The rest of you can do whatever the hell you want."
"So there's a lot more of you at this spot you want to take us?"
"Well, not a lot of me, just a lot of people. We've been trying to bring everyone into the main area."
"Why?"
"... it gets really, really, really bad at night. All the demons come out. Most of us thought everyone should have at least a chance of survival."
"Interesting ... Filicia, what do you think?"
"I think we should go with her. At the best, we will get more information on the situation we're in."
"Well, Miyu, shall we go with him?" Ranka giggled slightly, gracefully hiding her lower face with the sleeve of her kimono. Miyu smiled, nodding. "What do you say, Larva?"
Larva tapped his mask thoughtfully against his arm before speaking. "It is better to know something about our possible foes than to know nothing."
"Like if they have a phobia about spiders?" Nagi grinned shamelessly, picking up Yui so that she was sitting on his shoulders. She bopped him on the head lightly with her fan, a look of mock annoyance on her face.
Xeros leaned against a nearby tree, watching the three tall men and their tiny female charges. All three of the girls looked to be no more than fourteen, and yet all six carried the weight of centuries within them. The girl-ancient in white, who seemed to be the leader, looked towards him. "We will go with you."
