Author's Notes and Cast

Well, that's something I'm getting from the original manga, in that the higher the level of magic the user is capable of casting, the more it slows down their aging process, in some almost completely halting it.

Well, I wanted to include some things that different from both the regular Slayers story and the regular Sailor Moon stories. I'm not going to say what here, as I do want them to be a surprise, but I have a list of name changes, as well as their changes in their jobs, here for those of you who got lost. The rest I'll add as they appear.

The Original	The Alterations
Lina Inverse Traviling sorceress, bandit killer, and dragon spooker, the original Lina is about age fifteen or sixteen with a penchant for fireballs, gold, and food. Forever in search for better spells and new types of food, Lina is definitely not your average heroine.	Lina Mizuno Teacher at the local high school, Furinkan High, after a lucrative career as a bandit killer and all around monster slayer in Europe. Lina is also running a boarding house for the local college, specializing in room and board for spell casters.
Gourry Gabriev Mercenary swordsman and self-appointed protector of Lina, he's as loyal as man's best friend ... just not as smart. Lina's constant companion through almost all of their adventures, he's also the subject of most of her abuse.	Gourry Gabriev Gourry is a new teacher, though not for the high school. He teaches a sword training class at the local college, and also is on loan to the high school to teach the beginning blades class for the seniors.
Zelgadis Greywers Zelgadis has not had an easy life, and becoming a Chimera, a creature 1/3 human, 1/3 demon and 1/3 golem did not help things any. Understandably quite bitter about what happened to him, he starts off as an enemy, but soon becomes an ally and friend to Lina. Highly intelligent and the most powerful user of Shamanist magic seen in the series, Zel easily could be the most unusual and the cutest character ever seen!	Zel Akoushi Is a new teacher, at the high school, to help with the massive influx of students with magical or psionic talents. Quiet, calm, and willing to listen, as well as being very attractive, he has almost every female on the teaching staff chasing him, along with a great deal of the students. Now, what is he going to do about the men chasing him?
Amelia Wil Tesla Seyruun Acrobatic, fanatical defender of justice and klutz all describe Amelia fairly well. She's also a princess, but she isn't exactly what you would call gorgeous, as the most she can attain in a beauty contest is pretty. She has a rather intense crush on Zel, which is not reciprocated. Heir to the Seyruun throne after her father, unless she wises up a little, her time as a ruler looks to be the shortest in the book.	Amelia Seyruun Bright, cheerful, justice-spouting Amelia is a freshman at the high school, and she's been around her justice-fanatic father a little too long, as she just as bad, and in some cases worse, than he is. The second daughter of the Seyruun ruling family, she will inherit the throne after her father. God help us all.
Naga the White Serpent Lina's companion before meeting Gourry some few years later, and in her opinion, Lina's ultimate rival. This part however, couldn't be farther from the truth. Almost any spell cast by Naga can and will go wrong in some way. She also has the ability to consume alcohol the way Lina eats food, which may explain her spellcasting abilities.	Naga Tesla Not much has changed with Naga, only that she is the co-owner of Lina's boarding house, also one of the teachers, and has a reputation for being rather lusty.

Xeros One of the ancient Mazoku race, his sole reason for existence is to destroy creation as painfully and slowlly as possible. But he is not like most Mazoku, as he is rather cheerful, and actually has a sense of humour, albeit a rather sadistic one.	Xeros
Martina A princess of a kingdom now destroyed (by Lina) because of her attempt to hold Amelia hostage, she follows the group, occaisionally a help, but mostly just an annoying pest.	Martina Tsoski
Sylpheel Nehl Lahda A princess and priestess of Sairaug, Sylpheel is a sweet, caring girl with a bad tendency to giggle, a lot. The most beautiful of the slayers females by almost unanimous vote, she's also a bit of a bubblehead.	Sylpheel Nehls The school nurse for the college, she's had a crush on Gourry since they were kids, but he's utterly oblivious.
Zolph	Zolph Akino
Rodimus Both family retainer, and dear friend to Zelgadis, not much is said about him in the anime, and there is little chance of finding anything in the manga unless you read japanese.	Rodimus Kintaro Rodimus is still a servant of Zelgadis, and an even truer friend, one of the two the young man has. He also has become at teacher at the high school, taking over the PE classes.

These people will often make common re-appearances, but as they are all original characters, and can't be found in either Sailor Moon or Slayers.

Urva is well-loved by her students, with her quirky humour and pleasant nature. Capable of handling the rowdiest student, nevertheless, when it comes to something stronger, she knows she needs to run.

This elf is just plain weird. Rarely says anything, and yet anyone who tries to pick on him is found stuffed in a garbage can. Is often found in unusual locations at weird times.

Considered to be the most psychotic teacher on the staff, do not, I repeat, do not upset this being. It's revenge is most subtle ... and very humiliating for the offendee.
