"Hmm ... it is a possiblity, but it's a very slim one. The Crystal of Aradon has been missing for longer than most civilizations have existed." Zel tapped a few locations on the map. "According to the records we found, it's been spotted in these locations ... but the last sighting was well over ten thousand years ago, here."
Keith and Lotor frowned, leaning forward slightly to look at the island Zel's finger was pointing at. Lina read the print labeling it, then scowled, a dark look crossing her face. She looked to Zel to confirm what she was thinking.
He nodded, his eyes dark. "Wolf Pack Island."
Lotor straightened suddenly, throwing a surprised glance at Xeros and Elizabeth. "Isn't that the home of your master?"
Both of the Mazoku just nodded, a look of quiet surprise upon their own faces.
And later on, the Voltron force and Lotor got to see one of the oh-so-common Firia vs Xeros fights. Including all the massive property damage.
Keith looked towards Valtierra, a rather shocked type of curiosity on his face. "Does this happen often?"
"About once a week." Val shrugged. "They've calmed down a bit, it used to be many times every day."
"Every day?"
"Every day. Though the worse time was when he accidentally smashed a pot I'd made for her. That day he had both of us trying to turn him into a purple smear on a wall somewhere."
Pidge looked thoughtfully over the weapons he had been given, turning one blade in particular over and over, his hands easily moving the blade about. It was strange, that he wanted only this blade. Normally he didn't care for this type of archaic weapon at all. "Why this one?"
Zelas sighed, banishing the image from the sphere with a wave of her hand. "It will only be a matter of time before they find the true hiding place of the Crystal of Aradon."
A man's voice spoke from behind her, his face hidden in the shadows. "Only a matter of time until our children realize their true power, my dear."
"But what of the Crystal? It has been hidden for so long ... to reveal it might court even more disaster."
"Such as the problems you had when you killed me?"
"Worse."
"That could be trouble."
"I want our children to live."
A single hand reached out of the shadows, gently rubbing against her cheek. It took all of Zelas's willpower to not shudder at the touch, to show no sign of what she felt. A low chuckle from him told her that her own scents had betrayed her emotions. "There will be enough time for that later ... and our children will live."
