Lina: OK, you said original plan, right?
S. Angel: Yeah. Why?
Lina: Does this mean this is the only part that isn't a lemon?
S. Angel: In the eyes of the beholder...
LZ: groan
Xellos: I saw your me/Lina lemon.
Lina: Oh, yeah, that reminds me. FIREBALL!
S. Angel: Eep! dodges The hentais pestered me to write one! Blame them! OK, don't. I did want to write one as well. But don't Fireball me!
Lina: Why not?!
S. Angel: You want to get it on with Xellas? Down, hentais. That isn't on my list (at the moment).
Various hentais: Darn.
S. Angel: Anyway, I better get this done, ne?
Zel: I wish you never started it in the first place.
S. Angel: It could be worse. It could be a you/Shabby lemon...
Zel: WHAM Don't joke about that, Silver Angel.
S. Angel: Owie... Fic's starting. Ouchies...
Sorry, sorceress. His mind is mine!
Lina placed her hands over her ears, and winced. The mental voice cut through her head, leaving her with a major, major headache. A hand touched her head, and the pain lessened. She looked up. "X-xellos?"
"I know what's happening," he snarled, looking at Zelgadis, his eyes open. "His thoughts are being plagued by one of the Mazokus called the Dream Sisters." Xellos smiled sadistically. "I warned Nista never to play with mine again."
Lina looked over at his staff, and started when she saw it glowing a dull red. "Xellos... what are you planning on doing?"
"The only way I know how to get a Dream Sister out is to wound the body their playing with almost to death." Xellos raised his staff. "And even though I don't like doing this to any of mine, I must. Sorr - Lina! What are you doing?!"
She looked up from Zel's chest, where she had thrown herself. "Xellos, don't! I... I... I'll Dragu Slave you into the next year if you kill him!"
He closed his amethyst depths. "You love him, don't you?"
Her ruby eyes blinked. "Why?" she asked, suspiciously.
"Because if you do, there's a chance you can go into his dream, and catch Nista off guard." Xellos looked over at Zelgadis. "However... that's a bit much. I don't know if you can do it..."
"What?!" Lina sat up, glaring at the Mazoku. "I can do anything, Xellos. And I'll kill this stupid Dream Sister."
He lowered his head. "I see." Then, he raised his staff yet again. Lina shielded the chimera from the blast she thought was coming with her body. Suddenly, a wave of drowsiness overcame her, and it was all she could do to stay awake.
"What are... you doing... Xellos?" she yawned, blinking.
"I said you need to go into his dream, didn't I?"
Lina was about to think that over when the sleep spell overtook her body, and she fell asleep.
Xellos looked down at the two, and put his staff in her hands. "You'll need that," he whispered, stepping back.
Gods, it's so lonely here... Is this really Zel's mind?
Something touched her arm softly. Lina looked up, and saw the sapphire eyes... the violet hair... Before she could make out anymore details, she was embraced by strong arms. A gentle voice whispered her name into her ear.
Are... are you...?
It's alright, Lina. In my mind, you won't be hurt. I promise.
But, Zel... The Dream Sister... She closed her eyes.
You won't be hurt. Lina-itooshii... My Lina... You'll win. I know you will.
Thank you... Zel...
A kiss was dropped gently on her cheek, then he was gone. Opening her eyes, she realized that she was in his dream. And in it... Lina blushed furiously. He was making love to someone that looked like her. But she knew better. And... he was human?!
"Zel!" She took a step forward, then realized that she was back in her sorceress clothing, with Xellos' staff in her hands. Lina looked at it, then looked up at the now disengaged couple.
"L-lina?" He looked at the girl in his arms, then at her. "What the...?"
With a sudden anger, she raised the staff up. "I'm booting you out of Zel's head, you Mazoku!" Lina yelled, bringing it down. It cracked the wood floor.
And the entire room around them shattered. Lina raised her ruby eyes to see the now chimeric Zel and a girl taller than herself, and...
"You know," Lina quipped, "I'd think you're Naga, but you look to much like my sister to be her."
The overdeveloped, underclad, fuchsia haired girl glared at her. "So, Xellos remember me, hm? Too bad. I was hoping to get more out of him," she said, punctuating her sentence with a kick to Zelgadis' chest.
"Don't... kick... him..." Lina growled. For some reason, the staff was gone now. But she didn't need it now. "ELMEKIA LANCE!"
The shamanist spell ran through the unaware Dream Sister. Nista growled, and disappeared. "Damn you!" she shouted, her voice echoing after she was gone.
Lina looked over to Zel. He raised his head, then stood up. Suddenly, she ran into his arms, crying. "Oh, Zel, I thought I couldn't save you... that I had lost you..."
"No, Lina," he whispered, tears dripping from his own face. "I knew you'd win."
Xellos saw his staff glow, then fade. He smiled, knowing that Lina had done it. "I knew you could do it, Lina. I knew you loved him."
But... if he was happy about it... why was he crying? The Mazoku brushed away a tear, not looking at it as he took his staff back. You're not going to live much longer, Nista. I warned you about what happened if you try any of mine.
He teleported away just as both Lina and Zelgadis started to wake up.
S. Angel: Maa, maa. Put down the blunt objects, Lina. Remember, the epilogue is actually sweet.
Xellos: Can I actually see the epilogue this time?
S. Angel: Oh, you've been good this time. I won't give you to Ki this time.
Xellos: Thank you! Thank you! kisskiss
S. Angel: Remove your lips from my ass, now. Before I bring out Mace-sama.
Lina: You know he won't.
S. Angel: I know. But I have fun hitting him too. WHAM Like I said, Xellos, remove your lips from my ass. brandishes mace
Xellos: Pretty... colors...
