"Heero! Oh, Heero, I finally found you!"
Duo winced, and cleaned out his ear. "Sheesh, that's one shrill cry," he grumbled, wincing. "Konnichi wa, Relena-san! How are you?"
"Oh, Heero, have you met my friend?" Relena asked, completely ignoring Duo. "This is Liena Rinverse." She gestured to the redhead girl behind her.
Liena put her hand down, coughing. It was obvious she was fighting off laughter. "You must be Heero Yuy," she said, amused. "Relena-sama speaks so highly of you."
Heero glared at her, or as well as he could with Relena hanging off of him. "Hn."
"Hi!" Duo chirped. "I'm Duo Maxwell! Nice to meet'cha!" He extended his hand.
Her hand slipped into his, and she looked directly into his amethyst eyes. Duo stood, struck dumb by the eyes. Ruby... red... Lina. He shook it off, and forced a smile. Liena smiled back at him, and leaned in, whispering in his ear. "Hello, Mazoku." She spun away from him, smiling smugly. "Relena-sama, I have to go," she said as she walked off. "I have to talk with my mother."
"You finally found him."
"He's still the same. Cold, distant... demo..."
"I know. The Mazoku has been reborn. It is part of his punishment."
"It's WHAT?! Mom, he could remember! And I don't have the power I use to!"
"It is part of his punishment, to be reborn as a human, surrounded by the people he betrayed."
"They're in love."
