But Something Is Different ...

Episode 26 "Go To Next! And then..."

Recap: Fibster went off and created a ghost town of the old Sairaag, now why did the idiot have to do that, one death led to another and Hellmaster got Lina to cast Giga Slave, despite the fact it calls on the power of the Mother of All and had the big fat chance of destroying everything. And we wonder why Fibster made her cast it? To destroy everything. Anyway, his plan goes to the Sea to Chaos or vice versa.

Fibrizo laid sprawled on the crystalline floor that made up his temple in the heart of Sairaag as he raised his arm to shield himself. Not from the scattering debris of rubble being blown everywhere by the torrent winds that now existed, but from something must worse.

"Deeper than darkest pitch, I am the Lord of Nightmare," said the glowing figure of gold whose form was that of Lina Inverse, but Hellmaster knew that Lina was not there anymore. The huge aura of pure gold energy radiated around her, reaching amazing heights, as she held in her out-stretched palm a glowing orb of energy. The wind seemed to billow out from all around her as she stood there.

"Oh great, it's mother..." Fibrizo remarked as he glared at her. "I suppose the fact that you're here, the girl's alright, the world is not returning to nothingness, means I'm royally screwed over." He inquired as LoN remained in impassive. "I take it that this is going to be a one-sided conversation?" he asked as LoN was still silent. "I take that as a yes," he muttered scratching his hair.

Think Hellmaster, you've got several millennia of knowledge tucked away. Put it to good use right now, or Mother is going to lick the place with us. he thought as he occasionally whacked his head with his fist.

"Okay, how are you doing?" he asked finally as silence touched down. A sagebrush oddly enough managed to find its way down here and roll by the two. "Now that was strange..." Fibrizo muttered as LoN still didn't say anything.

Something was wrong with all this. Really wrong.

More silence passed by, temporarily looking somewhere else for a change of pace. The ghost city of Sairaag was slowly dispersing away as Fibrizo called them back into himself. And the land was being renovated Mother of All style with big flying slabs of rock with spiraling winds all around the area in strange twister shapes.

"Boy, I expected more out of this," Fibrizo sighed as he started to play his sixth game of solitaire. "I strangely feel that I should be saying something, but I don't know what..." he muttered as he turned over a card. "Oh great busted," he swore as he tossed the card away.

Pondering for a moment, Fibrizo brightened. "I know, I'll call the other Lords to help me figure it out. Too bad I had to kill Gaav because he wouldn't tell me what 'it' is" [Refer to the later chapters of "How Terim Met Zelas"] Snapping his fingers as he summoned them, Dynast, Deep Sea, and Greater Beast appeared beside him.

Holding a soaking towel and wearing a shower cap , Dynast grumbled, "Even in the North Pole, when you get into the shower someone calls you." Looking around with squinting eyes, he demanded, "And did you have to do it when the soap was stinging my eyes?"

"Fibrizo, what the heck is this all about?" Zelas demanded as she snatched Hellmaster up by the scruff of his neck and shook him violently.

Deep Sea Dolphin just stood there and waited.

"Oh, because of her," Fibs remarked pointing to the still silent LoN.

"MOTHER!" the three Lords screamed as Zelas dropped Fibrizo, the three immediately bowed in respect until they paused in thought.

"How come I have this strange feeling we shouldn't be here?" Dolphin asked as the other Mazoku Lords stared at her in shock.

"Aren't you suppose to be insane?" Fibrizo asked as he played with a yo-yo.

"Nah, I was just faking it so you would all leave me alone," Dolphin laughed as stress marks appeared on the Mazoku Lords.

"Anyway," Dynast interrupted as he switched into more presentable clothing. "Why did you call for us?"

"Oh, something is wrong here," Fibrizo remarked as he crossed his arms and thought for a moment. "Something very important is or will be happening soon, but I've no clue what!" he exclaimed as Zelas laughed at him.

"So you drag us all the way here just for that?" she remarked as she took a puff from her smoke. "You took Xelloss to gather you all those souls and now you have the nerve to mix me up with all this?" she growled as she gestured to the huge crystal piece holding the souls of everyone in Sairaag. Pausing as she noticed several floating piece of crystal with people in them, Zelas asked, "Who are they?"

"Oh, just a bunch of Lina's friend I killed," Fibrizo remarked as he turned away from his thinking. "I was going to shatter them all eventually," he sighed as he went back to thinking.

Smirking, Zelas inquired, "Mind if I break a couple of them? I just love how these things shatter."

"Knock yourself out," Fibrizo muttered as Zelas chuckled as she teleported up to the crystals.

"Maybe there is supposed to be a futile struggle happening here?" Dynast suggested as Dolphin and Fibrizo shrugged at the idea.

"Come on, that's LoN, any fight with her is futile," Dolphin muttered as their conversation was cut off by shriek coming from Zelas.

"What the - " Fibrizo started before his head went slamming into the crystal ground, Zelas over him grinding her sandal foot into his head. Sweatdrops appeared on Dolphin, Dynast, and LoN as Zelas stomped on him a bit, before she dragged his smashed head up.

"You crossed the line this time," Zelas hissed as fire started erupting around her as she tightened her grip on the battered Mazoku Lord.

"What are you so pissed about?" Fibrizo yelled as Zelas shook him quite strongly.

"That!" she barked as everyone turned to look at one of the crystal as it broke off from the others and floated down to them to see.

"It's a chimera," Dynast stated as he gazed into the crystal. "Pretty well made compared to the ones I employ in my armies."

LoN merely stood there as her energy drifted around her creating an upward wind current creating a wicked effect on the hair and cape the form she held had.

"That's my son!" Zelas screamed as a shocked expression passed through the three Mazoku Lord as LoN made no motion at all.

"ZELGADISS is your son?" Xelloss cried as he popped next to his master from his hiding spot. Zelas turned to look at her Priest as she plowed him into the nearby wall.

"And you!" she said glaring at Xelloss. "How could you let this happen?" she demanded pointing to Zel in the crystal.

"Well you see - " Xelloss tried to explain, but Zelas silence him with a swift punch in the face. A stress mark twitching on her, Zelas looked at Fibrizo and ordered, " Free him!"

"Okay," Fibs muttered snapping his finger, freeing Zel from the crystal prison.

Shaking his head, as he started to get the cobwebs out of his head, Zel muttered, "What happen - "

"Oh my poor little boy," Zelas cried as she ripped Zel off his feet in a big hug.

"Mom?" he stuttered as he looked at her as she swung him around like a rag doll and squeezing him like one too.

"Oh you changed so much," she sobbed as tears came out of her eyes. "Your skin is all stony and hard. And your hair, it's wiry and spiky. It used to be soft and violet," she cried as she grabbed a huge bunch of Zel's hair and shook him by it. Finally grabbing him by his cheek as she stretched his face, Zelas remarked, "And your eyes are so slitted and evil."

"Mom, they've always been that way," Zel remarked as Zelas paused at the revelation.

Dropping him on the ground, she sighed, "Oh yeah, forgot that you were half-mazoku."

Looking down at Zel, Dynast commented, "So this is the son of the Greater Beast?"

Looking at Dynast, Zel stuttered, "What do you mean 'son of the Greater Beast' stuff?" "Mom, you're not..." he muttered as Zelas nodded as Zel realized who his mother really was. "Then you're..."

"Dynast Grausherra," Dynast stated as he gestured to Dolphin, "And that's Deep Sea Dolphin. And you already met Hellmaster - "

"Fibrizo!" Zel screamed as he charged at the Mazoku Lord only to be blasted back.

"Don't hit my son!" Zelas screamed as she stomped on Hellmaster.

"Boy this is weird," Dolphin mumbled as Dynast nodded.

Blinking as he watched his mom pummeled Fibrizo to mush, Zel turned his gaze to the golden figure, "Lina!"

"That's not Lina," Xelloss interrupted as he pulled himself from the wall.

"What do you mean?" Zel demanded as he grabbed the Priest by the collar.

"Lina cast the Giga Slave, it went out of control, and consumed her."

"Then that is..."

"Lord of Nightmare," LoN stated as she finally broke her silence as she regarded the chimera. The Mazoku and Mazoku Lords immediately fell in line as Zel stared in shock at the Mother of All. A smile crept up LoN's lips as she wailed, "You're so cute grandson!"

LoN quite happily glomped him as Zel turned a shade of red and blue.

A collective 'what' ran through the occupants of the room as LoN let go of Zel.

"You mean to tell me..." Dynast stuttered.

"That the chimera is..." Fibrizo stammered.

"The grandson to LoN?" Dolphin gasped.

"Well it's not from my side," Zelas muttered absently taking a puff.

Pondering a bit, Xelloss concluded, "I guess it must be on his father side."

"But Dad's mom is Neela?" Zel muttered as he took a step back.

"By mortal standards, yes," Terim explained as he melded out of the walls of the structure next to LoN. "But in all true regard I existed as a being created from LoN long before I was born here as Terim," he smiled before he was met with the angry glare of Zelas.

"So that's why I couldn't kill you?" Zelas demanded as the sound of someone clearing the throat was heard.

"That's correct," Lei Magnus smiled as he stepped out of the shadows. Brushing off some bits of ice from his robes, he commented, "You actually thought I would miss a chance to meet L-dear?"

Seeing Lei, LoN immediately latched onto him as she cried, "Lei!" Hugging him tightly by the neck, she gave him a peck on the cheek as Lei started to turn a bright shade of red.

"This is embarrassing," Lei muttered as his eyebrow twitched.

"You're telling me," Fibrizo groaned looking sick of such public displays of affection.

LoN merely glared at Fibrizo as he was sent flying into a nearby wall. The rest of the occupants were all bugged eye, except for Terim, and decided to keep their opinion quiet. The Mother of All was happily glomping Lei as he started to look a bit under the weather.

"Is something wrong?" she inquired noticing Lei's expression.

"You're in my great-granddaughter's body..." he muttered feverishly.

Blinking for a bit, LoN remarked, "So I am..."

The Mazoku Lords and Zel both hit the ground as Terim simply smiled.

LoN inquired, "Can I ask of you something Grandson?"

"What?" Zel asked hesitant of what might be coming.

Holding up a beautiful pink dress, LoN smiled, "Can you wear this dress for your dear grandmother? I think you would look cute in it."

Zel's jaw unhinged, the Mazoku Lords hit the ground, and Xelloss burst out laughing. Terim merely shook his head at the whole incident.

"My god, she's whacked." Dynast muttered.

"Excuse me," Valgaav remarked as he teleported in to everyone's surprise.

"It's Gaav's lackey," Xelloss stated the obvious.

"No time to chat, I need the Sword of Light," Val stated as everyone blinked.

"I think I got it right here, but I don't know why you would - " Fibrizo said before Valgaav snatched it out of his hand. "Hey, I was going to give it back to Dark Star," he protested as Valgaav held the Sword of Light.

"Oh don't worry." Valgaav laughed as he held the Sword of Light in his hand. "I'll be sure to give it back to him when I bring Dark Star here to purge everything!" Valgaav laughed again as he teleported off.

"No good will come from that," Terim muttered shaking his head.

"How is he supposed to do that?" Zelas asked as everyone merely shrugged until Fibrizo raised his hand.

"I know! He's going to use a gate that uses the power of the Weapons of Light created from an alien race from another world. The device will be positioned where the last fight between Ceiphied and Ruby Eye fought and you only need two weapon to create the gate," Fibrizo stated.

"And they say I'm insane," Dolphin muttered rolling her eyes.

"Well how bad could Dark Star be?" Lei remarked as all eyes turned to LoN.

"What?" she asked not enjoying all of the gazes at her. "Do you expect me to be omniscient?"

"Yes."

Blinking at the response, she laughed, "Oh yeah, I forgot about that."

Sounds of people hitting the floor could be heard.

"If you must know," Terim sighed generating a chair to sit on, "Dark Star managed to consume the Dragon God of his world and is now mad with destroying things."

"Well that's going to suck when he comes here," Fibrizo laughed. "What?" he muttered as everyone stared at him.

And so Dark Star came to this world and now you know the rest of the story. Oh wait no you don't... Well this is going to be a problem... Why don't we return you back to the regular show and let this parody end? Okay? No? Oh come on... Well I don't have to take all of this. I'm leaving! I'm really leaving you here. Good-bye.
