Wednesday

Eh hehehe. Kill escape. Kill escape. Kill escape. Yes that was what I was going to do to those so-called friends of mine, even as they dragged me behind them. We were following Escabar, the man in the toga to the city capital where we had to speak to the ruler. The man had said that whoever enters the city must pass the rulers inspection, so that's where we were currently heading. If you ask me the whole thing sounds very fishy...Things couldn't get any worse...or could they...

Well my question was answered, and quite quickly I might say. The tallest building sat in the middle of a large plaza, the building's front gates were two large gold wedding bands that crossed. The building itself looked like a miniature castle, whoever lived there, was overdoing it just a bit. Why in the world would you want to live in a castle in the middle of a city? This was weird...

I turned my head just in time to notice Escabar scurrying ahead and opening the front door. Weird the inside didn't look anything like the outside. There were various pieces of artwork lining the walls and halls...oh wait I didn't notice the little cupid statues earlier. As we walked...or in my case as I was dragged along the corridor we came to a wide set of doors. Escabar stepped forward and rapped on the doors twice, he waited for a moment then started banging on the doors like a madman.

"Leave off the door Escabar and just get your ass in here!" that voice could only mean trouble. Finaly all that had been bugging me came to the front. So that was what was bothering me the whole way here...oh no this was not good. I began to squirm and move around, for some reason the ropes would not snap. I had to curse fate yet again as I was dragged along behind the others into the room. Man this sucked...

"Oh great one I have brought new guests!" Escabar bowed to the throne in the center of the room. Lina tried to take a peak but she couldn't see, because the throne's back was facing them. Please Lina just don't say anything...but then again since when do things go my way.

"Hey! We need to use the library!" Lina always the polite on e of the group...

The throne slowly grinded it's way around till it sat facing us. All the occupants in the room crashed to the ground except for Escabar and me.

"You must be kidding me! Where's your ruler did he run off?!" Lina scowled as she stomped up to the throne and unceremoniously picked up the cat that was there and dropped it back into its seat. Now she's done it...

"Why you're a rude one...I like it!" the cat smiled a Cheshire cat smile and floated up into the air.

Please don't see me. Please don't see me. Please don't see me.

"Zelgadis is that you!" the pure white little kitten floated over and grinned. I moaned in desolation...my life was over. "You look the same, haha see your still rough around the edges! Hahaha"

"Excuse me over here! Zel who is this guy?" Lina would have to ask.

The little kitten dropped to the ground and smiled cutely as a little ball of yarn appeared out of nowhere. Batting the ball around he purred and meowed loudly.

"Oh just quit the act Chaos" I could feel the sweatdrop form on the back of my head. I remember when he used that trick on me...

"Ah Zel you are no fun at all. So your life still boring and mundane like usual?" I quickly shook my head no, the worst thing to do when chaos is around is to admit that something was boring and the same.

"Zel I asked you a question!" how was I supposed to answer Lina when she had me in a chokehold!

"Lina-san, Zelgadis-san are arguing again..." Syphiel murmured. I noticed Chaos's ears were twitching...not a good sign! If only Lina would let me go!

"So your saying they argue a lot eh?" Chaos asked floating over to the priestess. Syphiel nodded as she scratched the kitten behind the ears.

"Purrrrfect!"

I'm doomed...

Chaos floated away from Syphiel and scrunched up his nose cutely wiggling it. Suddenly I could feel my arms; the ropes binding me were now gone.

"So what's your name pretty lady?" Chaos floated over to Lina. I scowled the little parasite.

"I like this kitten, it has great taste!" Lina grinned as the kitten perched onto her shoulder.

"Friend's of Zellie boy are friends of mine! I'll get Escabar to show you to your rooms!"

I-A-M-D-O-O-M-E-D

Later...

Why me...Why! That sneaky low down...I'm gonna have kitty chops for dinner! No offense to Syphiel but this current dilemma was all her fault! Chaos had arranged it somehow so that he was stuck in a room shared with Lina. She seemed fine with the situation even so far as to point him in the direction of the large sofa.

"Don't worry Zel if this is the only room they had left, we can be roommates!" damn it, that wasn't it at all he knew for a fact there were more rooms!

Hey Zel there is a note for you...hmm it says

Dear Zel,

Escabar has somehow lost your clothes, please except these as replacements!

(Insert a kitty throwing up a V sign)

Lina handed over the box that came with the note.

I carefully opened the box...and dropped it like it was on fire what was this! I tried to keep Lina from seeing it, but she grabbed at it quickly.

"Oh my..." Lina blushed crimson, as she took in the leather pants and vest. "Oi Zel you need something to change in, we've been on the road for two days"

"I'll just wear this, I'm not wearing that!" I was being firm, yep I was finally gonna take a stand against Lina...Well that's how it was supposed to go anyway. Do you realize that stone gets pretty hot after getting fried a few times...?
