Lina groggily opened her eyes, why in the world was her head spinning. It was as if someone had knocked her in the head with a baseball bat. Rolling over she could feel the grass stems brush along her cheek...grass! Sitting bolt upright she glanced about herself in horror. Where was she and why was she in the woods...someone must have grabbed her and kidnapped her! Yeah that was it...and then it came back to her. But that's impossible I was in the library and then I ...that door. "Ahhh! This is too confusing where the heck am I!"
"Right where you belong sweetheart!"
Lina whipped her head around only to have to stare up at the newly arrived group of men. They were dressed in...what in the world it looked like something out of a bad novel. They were dressed in peasant clothes and were carrying clubs. And at the moment they were leering at her...
Lina glared she could see in there eye what they had planned well they were sorely mistaken if they thought...
"Stop right there if you don't want to get hurt" Lina turned to where the voice had come from only to see a tall man with a cloak and hood with a face mask lounging against a nearby tree.
"Whatever! Go get him boys!" What Lina was assuming was the Leader was tall and greasy with a beer gut. She gave a snort of disgust as she watched him walk closer to her.
Lina didn't have a chance to worry about the guy behind her as the man lounged for her. Reaching she grabbed his arm and tossed him into a nearby tree. She watched as he slumped down the tree with a dazed look. She gave him an evil smile as she ran toward him her fist driving home into his stomach. She watched as he slumped over into unconsciousness.
"Not bad" the voice sounded again from behind her.
"Not bad! Did you see the style the grace, and the strength behind that punch!" Lina couldn't help but admire her handiwork; unlike in class she didn't have to hold back.
She could here a light intake of breath and a muttering of "That voice..." from behind her. Turning she smiled at the man who had saved her "My names Lina thanks for the help!" she noticed the sprawled bodies littered behind the man.
"Lina..." the mans grey blue eyes stared into hers for what seemed an eternity before they rolled back into his head and he slumped to the ground.
