Part 1

Once there live a wannabe Justice hero... Amelia Wil Telsa Saillune! She is the greatest protector of all mankind! Well.. to her anyway. One bright day while resting in a nearby river, she decided to practice her new justice pose. That is to leap and do a somersault and actually land on her feet. So she tried and she did land on one of the rocks in the river! Alas, the rocks were too slippery for her so she fell into the river. The current was too strong, she tried to fight it, but her small body and almost limp body cannot hold it any longer. She drifted away with the flow. And then it was darkness.

When Amelia opened her eyes, she was on land. She got up and rubbed her aching head. She wondered who could've pulled her out of the water. She looked around and realized that this was a strange new place for her. The place was dark and dreary. She cheerily started singing 'Otome no Inori' to calm and relax herself down as she began walking. She saw a silhouette figure in front of her. Thought to be her lifesaver she reached out for that figure. But much to her surprised it was only a man statue! Then, Amelia saw a couple of stone statues. A man statue, woman mid running, a child crying, a scared figure of a teen, and lots more.

"Who could've make all these injustice figures of humans?! " Amelia said out loud. "Have they no feelings?!"

Amelia sighed and began finding her way back home.

But what Amelia didn't know is that a lowly life figure was watching her just now. A pair of dark eyes. Yes, it was the much-feared Zelgadiss one of the chimeras. Everyone says that whoever made eye contact with him, turns them into stone. He went out of his hiding place after the little girl had gone. How long was it since he had last saw humans? The last one was his dead grand father. Being blind sure has it advantages... but noo... Rezo had to go and associate with that Shabraningdo and got his eyesight back. Unfortunately Zelgadiss 'accidentally' broke him into pieces.

He glanced down and saw a piece of card on the ground. He picked it up and saw Amelia's picture on it.

"Hmmph.. her School id," He muttered. "figures," Amelia Wil Telsa Saillune, 14 yrs old, schooling in Saillune, voted most justice minded person. He read. Probably some idiotic girl who had nothing better to do than involving in various Justice services. Still.. He kinda liked her voice. Sweet and mellow. How long has it been since he made his last friends? Friends? Who needs friends? Talking to these statues is a blast! Who was he kidding?

"Damn inner voices," He cursed. "I wish I finally have a cure for this!" He grumbled.

Suddenly a ray of light shone from above. And soft gold dust came trickling down. And down came Filia, Goddess of Beauty and Love. Her long golden hair, her flowing pink dress and her bright blue eyes totally blow Zelgadiss away.

"So.. what do you mortals beseech from me now?!" She asked, her voice rang like the bells. "I am Filia. Goddess of beauty and - "

She was interrupted by the sound of thunder and a thick fog that was building up. There was a flash and then the fog disappears to reveal..

"Namagomi!" Filia said shocked.

There stood Xelloss... the ..um.. Lord of Demons? Fine. A god among the Mazoku. He stood there with his eyes in an upside down u, and smiling.

"Namagomi, get off. This is my turf," Filia ordered, angrily.

"Says who? He was beseeching me," Xelloss replied.

"No... he beseeched me. After all, I am the goddess of Beauty," Filia narrowed her eyes at her enemy. "And Love," she added.

"Gee.. I wonder how could that happen with your looks and attitude," He said sarcastically.

"NOT!"

"Is too! And is that a wrinkle?"

"Damn you @#*$^ Namagomi!" Filia yelled as she took out her mace.

BONK!

"Itee...." Zelgadiss muttered as he fell backwards.

"Ah.. gomenasai!" Filia apologized as she helped him.

"See.. look at what you've done!" Xelloss reprimanded. Filia quickly hid her mace away, embarrassed.

"You make me soo mad!" She said, agitated.

"Will both of you shut up?!" Zelgadiss interrupted them as he stood up.

"Geez!" He threw his hands up, mad. Filia and Xelloss both raised their eyes. "I just want someone to help me with my problems! Got it?" Zel glared at the two gods.

"Okay, so I can help you!" Both said. They looked at each other in disgust.

"See, Zelgadiss I know what your problem is," Filia smiled sweetly. "You are lonely here. See... you are embarrassed by how you look and the fact that you turn mortals into stones by mere eye contact," Filia explained while Zelgadiss twitched his mouth.

"Look, he's not here to listen to you bickering about his life," Xelloss told Filia. Filia gave a sharp look at the Mazoku.

"As I was saying," Filia continued. "It's impossible to have friends with statues. But it's not impossible to have friends!" Filia went on. "And looks is not what matters to most people! Just be yourself and you'll find a friends who'll likes you no matter what you look like!"

"So.. what you're saying is..." Zelgadiss asked hoping this would be his cure after all. Soon.. he'll be mingling about humans without any discrimination.

"Here," Filia said as she handed him a pair of sunglasses. "A UV protector sunglasses compliments of.. this goddess! You'll be thankful for this!"

Zelgadiss held up the sunglasses. "Uhh.. and how is it suppose to help me?"

Filia grinned as she put the sunglasses on Zelgadiss. "See! Problem solved! Now you don't have to worry about turning your friends into stones!" Filia smiled brightly. "Duh.. now you can have eye contact," Zelgadiss looked at her in doubt.

"I don't think that is what our dear friend has in mind for his problems," Xelloss put in.

"Look, Namagomi, he beseeched me, so I know what to do. See, he doesn't need to turn into something he's not. He should be just happy with the way he is," Filia explained. Xelloss yawned in boredom.

"That's easy for you to say," Zelgadiss muttered as he took off the sunglasses.

"Zelgadiss...Do you know how cruel humans could be? Once they see you're different they'll surely chop your head off," Xelloss said as Zelgadiss rolled his eyes.

"Cut the crap and get to the point," Zelgadiss ordered.

"Yare..yare.. someone's touchy today. See.. I have a preposition for you," Xelloss said as he smiled mischievously. "You know.. I could turn you into a full human.. I mean, all those rocks will be gone in nano seconds!" Xelloss explained. Zelgadiss's ears perked up in interest. "BUT - "

"I knew it," Filia slapped her forehead knowingly.

"But what?" Zelgadiss asked.

"See, I can only turn you into a full human during the day," Xelloss continued. "And during the night you'll be detransform into a chimera back,"

"Hmm... I can live with that," Zelgadiss rubbed his chin. "But you say - "

"But you'll be working under me.. what do you say?" Xelloss nudged him. Zelgadiss frowned. " Come on!"

"Jerk," Filia muttered at Xelloss. "Can't you just turn him into full swing human?"

"Okay, okay.. since I'm such a nice [Filia barfed], understanding [Filia rolled her eyes], god.. I'll tell you what I'm going to do," Xelloss puts both his hands on Zelgadiss's shoulders.

"I'm going to release you and turn you into human permanently IF you find true friendship,"

Zelgadiss's eyes flew wide open while Filia groaned.

"Namagomi," Filia muttered. "And what if he doesn't?"

"Well.. I guess he'll have to live human for the day, chimera for the night and still be working under me," Xelloss shrugged. "Admit it.. it's still a good offer."

"Zelgadiss.. you NEVER associate with Mazoku. They are evil!" Filia told Zelgadiss. Xelloss rolled his eyes.

"Come on Filia, you have to admit that my offer is so much better," Xelloss raised his eyebrows in delight.

"But then.. people will only look you on how you look! The inside is a much better item," Filia said. "Anyway.. you'll be working under him."

"Come on.. my offer still stands.." Xelloss said. Zelgadiss thought very thoroughly. How hard is it to find a friend? He already knows one human. He smiled as he remembered the girl's singing. Hey, between a stupid sunglasses and a full makeover?

"So what do you say?" Xelloss asked.

"I'll take it," Zelgadiss answered as he shook the Mazoku's hand.

"Oh, Zelgadiss," Filia shook her head in disappointment.

"A deal's a deal," Xelloss grinned as he circle his staff around. A thick fog suddenly surrounded Zelgadiss. And then thunder strike at that place. As the fog moved away, Filia saw the unfamiliar face.

"Zelgadiss?"

Sure enough.. Zelgadiss had the full human treatment. His face is smooth and tanned, and his hair turned into blue black. No longer is he a chimera. Zelgadiss cannot believe at the transformation.

"Remember Zelgadiss.. you have three days..." Filia sighed.

"And stop by my office later," Xelloss winked. Zelgadiss shivered. He walked off to a new life, a new world a world, which he would be seeing in a different perception.

"You took him for granted!" Filia yelled at the Mazoku after Zelgadiss had gone out of sight.

"Yikes! I wonder where the Love part comes in, in your goddess stature," Xelloss said as he tried to avoid the mace.
