Part 1: Zel Goes to Tokyo

Zel lifted up his arms and looked at the drooping sleeves. They fell nearly to his feet. He tried to take a step and tripped. Upon closer inspection, he relaized that it was his pants that had tripped him, laying in a small bundle on the ground about his feet. He blinked a few times, trying to remember what had happened, but his mind was fuzzy and he could remember nothing. All he knew was that his name was Zelgadis and the trees looked suspiciously taller ... At any rate, he couldn't travel with his clothes three times bigger than himself, and he couldn't stay there forever, so he decided to make a fitting garment for himself by tearing off the sleaves and using them as a belt. His pants were useless to him, so he left them behind, and soon started off.

After wandering for many hours, Zel finally cme to a town. Well, he thought it was a town anyway. The road was made of a very fine rock material pasted together - at least, he was pretty that it was - and all along them were strange, shiny, covered wagon-type structures with thick, black wheels supporting them.

He was just turning around a corner when he heard someone cry out, "Oh, so cute! Monique! Monique!"

"Nanii!?" Zel screamed, running away. He quickly left her far behind. He stopped to catch his breath when he noticed a boy with black hair running down the street. Zel tried to get out of his way, but the boy was fast and tripped over Zel, sending them both tumbling to the ground. A girl appeared behind the boy, smashing him on the head with a giant hammer while screaming, "You pervert!" Taking one look at her angry face, Zel quickly ran away.

"What kind of place is this!?" Zel panted after he'd finally stopped. Looking around, he wondered, "Where am I?"

"Where on Earth am I now...!?!"

Zel looked around, trying to place the location of the voice, but it echoed too much and quickly faded away. Zel jogged away, a small sweatdrop on his head.
