"What's with this?" I looked up from my perch on Suboshi's back. Not that long ago, I had decided to storm the temple of Ifni and see what could be done to pry Steph from her computer briefly. So far I hadn't found her computer room, been bugged by Xellos (hers), watched said Xellos get punted into orbit by an annoyed Zel, gotten into a fight over the game system with Suboshi (I won), and fired rubberbands at the coffee aliens.
"Oh, hiya Xeros."
My own Xeros, his green eyes puzzled and perplexed, looked over the messy room, noting Nosedive sprawled all over a chair reading comics with lots of little SD clones of him also reading with him, Suboshi pinned beneath me as I sat on his back, Duo dangling from the ceiling fan, and all the little SD Xellos clones running around. He contemplated one briefly before stomping it. He looked at the mess on his shoe, then scraped the purple glob off on the edge of the coffe table, where the clone quickly sprang back to life.
"This is Steph's place." Xeros stomped on another clone before answering. "Stranger than the castle, in some ways."
"DIE XELLOS!!" With that war cry, Duo fell off the ceiling fan and attempted to sledgehammer Xeros into the ground on his way to the floor.
"Do I know you?" Xeros asked, neatly stepping aside.
"He's probably mistaken you for Xellos."
"Ah, I see." Duo pried himself off the ground and charged at Xeros .... who kicked him in the face. "Stay down, will you?"
"Interesting." Xellos just floated into the room, wearing a pink french maid outfit. Xeros blinked once, picked up Duo's sledgehammer, and then used it to smack Xellos through a nearby wall. Xellos SD'd, and bounced back into the kitchen.
"That was sickening."
"It was you as well."
"Blech."
"You do strange things too."
"Not as often as I used to."
"True."
Zelgadis stepped into the room, took one look at Xeros, blinked, turned around and looked in the kitchen, looked back at Xeros, seemed to think for a bit, then backed into his room and shut the door.
"I like you!"
" .... Get off my head!" Xeros pried Xellos off his head and threw him out a nearby window. Like a boomerang, Xellos re-attached himself to Xeros. This prompted a kind of cat-fight, with Xeros trying his darndest to get Xellos to let go.
It was to all this noise that Steph emerged from her computer room.
