Comments: Hakkai and Goku get a taste of the minus wave and attack their fellows (Hakkai against Sanzo and Goku against Gojyo). The after effects of this have Sanzo and Hakkai having a discussion in the woods, Sanzo definitely NOT talking with all three of them, and finally a peace offering of cigarettes in the jeep. =D There is also an interesting little story where kid!Hakkai and kid!Sanzo are captured by youkai and then have to escape, with shooting and Hakkai getting injured. Kanzeon Bosatsu comes down to fix the both of them up and fuck with their memories. Which relates on the current story in some wave in regards to a little pot, but HOW, I have no idea?

The second main story is about Goku noticing a caged canary at an inn and this naturally expands into the story/flashback/personal resolution of Goku's experience with the bird when he was caged.

Comments: I'm beginning to collect more drama and gag books even though they're harder to find. This one seems to center about Goku and his past/significance as the monkey king. The group ends up meeting with an old guy who does some mumbo jumbo on Goku with paper magic -- which burns the old guys hand and hurts Goku a bit too. It ends there, but it seems that the group is unfazed in general and merely wants to find out more of what the hell is going on. Well, damnit, so do I! Bring on the next book!

What was cute, though, was how he had to pry Sanzo's gun from his sleeping fingers and give him something else to hold -- his hand. A few general short gags featuring everyone. Then the second major part of the doujinshi has Kanan, Gonou, and Sanzo. XD Kanan is a evil, evil woman and knows just how to poke Gonou. It is SO funny to watch. Gonou is such a perv.

This is then followed by Tenpou pouncing on Konzen and lo, there is smut ... except Kenran walks in on it XD thinking Tenpou is WATCHING the video. Konzen throws things at him. It amuses me greatly. And on a side note, it ALSO amuses me how Tenpou always looks so shocked when Konzen pulls him down for kisses.

Comments: I love this artist' black and white work. Just LOVE it. It's so expressive. The stories aren't bad either. This one has two. One has the two sheltering under an overhang while it rains (Hakkai with groceries, Sanzo smoking). Hakkai yoinks Sanzo into hand-holding and it is just ... cute. The other story has them in bed and Hakkai takes Sanzo's cigarette away and ends up burning himself on it in the tussle for it's recapture. So Sanzo licks it better. =D

Sanzo growls, but he comforts Goku (in a sweet little scene) and the boy goes off to nap again. More adult chit chat with some handholding. The second story has Hakkai resting (maybe from being hurt or something? he has a cold rag on his forehead). The two talk and then Sanzo joins Hakkai in bed.

Sanzo goes to bed and Hakkai gets to pet him without getting smacked.

Sanzo looks all twitchy over it, but they go back to talking in time for Goku to come in for them and so the doujinshi ends.

Gojyo keeps trying to hit on Sanzo, only to get whacked by a fan or punched. The best one of the lot is Sanzo going to bed. Goku comes in wanting to sleep with him. Sanzo says no, Goku employs the pathetic look, and Sanzo caves. Next night Gojyo comes in wanting to sleep with him. Sanzo says no, Gojyo employs the pathetic look, and Sanzo punches him. Great stuff. =D
